Likes

The infrastructure is really good here, even the classrooms are wide and we have good labs
The teachers are expertised in their particular fields
We have extra course like this time we have got Coursera for free and have 1 year subscription

Dislikes

I feel we should have more library hours along with classes
Keeping classes till 3 40 is good for completing syllabus, well not have sufficient time for projects

Course Curriculum Overview

I really feel that few concepts are outdated and we have to be future ready with new technologies and more knowledge related to industries. We have good amount of gaps between the exams .. teaching methods are also good

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There's no such scholarship which will be given by the college, but we can apply to the govt scholarships like ssp, nsp etc. the total course fee is 120000 where the tuition fees, vtu registation fees etc will be included

Campus Life

The campus life is really good, different branches conducts different types of fests coming to technical, we will be having hackathons and other technical events which might help students think out of the box

Admission

Since I got the seat through cet, I had different options but many people whom I asked for the suggestions told that this college "RNSIT" is good overall, it's near to my home and it's easily accessible through bus

Faculty

Faculty members are really good, they really help students, since our course is vtu prescribed they have to follow the vtu structure itself, overall the structure of the course is good, but we students really prefer more practical rather than theoritcal classes

Night Life

Since I'm a day scholar, i don't have much idea about the nightlife in the college, but whenever we had fests we used to stay nearby, but the campus looks really beautiful in the evening, with the fountain and fishes in the small lake kind of thing.. and those lights which make the campus looks really beautiful

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester itself the students are eligible to apply the campus placements according to the company requirements. The placement cell of the campus is very well. There are some set of rules in the cell. Many of the companies offer employments to the students studying in the college. Some of the popular companies include Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, Catterpillar, IBM, TCS and others. The students with above 8 CGPA have 90% chance of getting placed. I am also planning to getting placed after completion of my course.

Through kcet counselling I got this college in my college.This college is decent for Aeronautical engineering and even we have to work hard .After joining to this college I got to know from seniors that for Aeronautical engineering their is no placement in this college.The placement is very good for mechanical and civil engineering in that college.we aeronautical engineering people have to take other courses and join in workshop and clubs to get job or show case our talent.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement at our Civil Engineering have been steadily improving, with students become eligible from the 7th Semester onwords. Sevearal reputed companies from the construction and infrastructure sector visit for recruitment and in my class already 4 of them selected at 7th semester itself and nearly 75% of eligible students securing placements and also there are lot od opening in off campus placements also. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a caareer in Construction Management and PMC sectors.

BMSIT is a good college when compared with RNSIT, and u might score well to get a seat in BMSIT, and also MVIT is also a pretty good option when u score well. u must score between 11k to 27k to get a seat in this college in COMEDK. u can also join these colleges via the Karnataka Board E-Exam called KCET....Read More
