Likes
- Our campus is the most beautiful campuses of Gandhinagar as it 20,30x the size of GNLU and facilities wise even better than Nirma University.
- I have joined 6-7 societies to keep myself engaged with the campus activities as otherwise there's nothing much to do after college hours.
- We have a lot of flowers blossoming all round the year and therefore our campus always smells good.
Dislikes
- Rigorous activities at the campus as sometimes our college hours are extended to 9-10 hours a day.
Course Curriculum Overview
Defense was my thing as I always wanted to learn the trade of it and besides that we get to learn about arms and Armanmets as well. German made, Italian Made and Lockheed Martin made things is whatvwe are taught in our college.
Placement Experience
Almost all the students who are studying my course will have placements as Central Government governs our college and they ensure that each one of us atleast have some meaningful job after finishing the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took admission in 2022 and since then our fees has increased some and our batch size too. Fees which was 80000 a semester in 2023, in 2025 it has become 85000 a year. All the students who comes through sports quota gets 20% scholarship and likewise there are many other scholarships.
Campus Life
College is huge and there's no doubt that our campus is scenic and beautiful. River flows from one end and there are gardens which with full of flowery trees thus you can find shade as and when you want. Events are happening here as sports day to annual day celebration we have it all over at our university.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are little small and even we don't have washrooms inside the room. So it's like 200 students in each floor and 20 washrooms are there on each floor. Timings of each course is different so one can find bathrooms as and when required.
Admission
For those who want to study defense there is no other college in country but is. Thus, I have given RSET which is mandatory here and then after that round studnets are allowed or rather called for an interview. Clearing both the rounds is how one gets admission in RRU.
Faculty
Prominent and hardworking faculties like RRU has is unbelievable. Even though most of them are retired government people, the energy in them is unbelievable. Even at the age of 60, Rawal Sir is going at the rate of knots and that has what made him my favourite by far.
Night Life
College has two libraries and central library which has seating of 500+ students is opened till eternity. Out of 4 cafes that college has, one is opened till 2 am. Also college gym is opened till 11 pm.
