Life at PCTE , an honest review

This aligned with my dream of staying intact with medicine as the main part of curriculum but in an entirely different way . You get to learn about how it's discovered, designed, undergoes different preclinical , clinical trials ,manufactured , and then distributed under the related ethics, laws and regulations . You cannot wholely depend on faculty for your training for next entrance exam but need to put extra efforts to get by yourself and practice harder for GPAT. The faculty teaches as per the PCI guidelines for IKGPTU examination.

Fee structure is justified as compared to other similar colleges because of its location, facilities, accessibility and affordablity .It is about 42000 INR per Sem when I applied for admission in 2022 .Now in 2025 , It is about 45000 INR per Sem . Enrollment is on the basis of CGPA obtained by the candidate in class 12

The main fest os Koshish which is held nearly every year . There is a wide range of books available in the library but there are issues associated, limited no. of hours like from 9 to 11.20 AM then 1.30 to 4.40 PM which clashes with the time of regular lectures. Then you cannot issue a book for more than 14 days altogether that's bit troublesome and only one librarian handles everything so even she becomes a nitpicker and a fine is imposed on smallest of issues. Tech is high end , no doubt, from fee submission to attendance record everything is updated on feebank app . Sport clubs available are Chess, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer . Other clubs are Dance , Music , CSR , Creative etc.

Admission procedure is very streamlined. You first book an appointment on call at their contact no. , the general eligibility is Class 12 Science cleared with more than 75% . Then they'll do some counselling and help with your enrollment. After , there's a small interview round generally on Wednesday which is offline , more like an interaction with faculty.

Faculty is approachable and very student-friendly environment. Examination pattern is like having 3 mid terms and 1 main examination for theory subjects and 2 practical mid terms . Time duration for mse is 1 hr for each subject and the final is 3 hr long

No late night because it gets over around in evening at 4.40 PM. The common hangout spots are grassy grounds , canteens , lobby . Nearest fav spots are WAVE Mall ,MBD mall , Chai sutta bar (a small cafe on walking distance) . It feels safer within the campus because its cantonment area with a military zone nearby .
