Course Curriculum Overview
I was always intersted in Marketing so I chose. While the curriculum is good, the college doesnot do so well to prepare for rel world pursuit. It is like stuck in time. Case discussions, exchange programs, Management fests beyond the city can be done. Exams are crackable as like school they prepare you to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is part of curriculum and must to do,however college does not provide assistancein getting into internship. Not much companies are tied and barely any corporate activity happens. For repoting and documenting inernship support is given as part of curriculum. No companies or roles provided, Internship is for grading so it is done as the part of it. If students lands on a paying internship ,it is their effort. No special aid from college though. Projects too are part of grading, and the topics are generally alloted or approved by the faculty.Practical outcome is very less.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees-75000 Separate fee for Hostel There is no donation only Govt fee There will be separate charges for Uniforms,Exam fee etc Scholarships to be applied by the students, but the college will ask to pay fees if remaining once the scholoarship is disbursed.
Campus Life
Campus life is very simple, very few club activities and the fest is not to the level of MBA. Infrastructure is fine and not lavish. Books are available and library is good. Not much competions are done, neither not much are competed, even if you want to mostly on your own risk.Sports is comparitively good. MBA inclusion is limited.
Admission
I chose this because I had a medical history needed to go nearby. Compared to other collges I applied for it is good is affordability and rural needs. Admission process is simple but the admission staff is not so professional. Most of the students come from KMAT and other entrances are very rare.
Faculty
Facutly student ratio is ideal. Only (Kruthika,Hamsa,Kiran, Deepthi) are resourceful but the others are not good(Shekhar,Sujata,Naveen), their favourism and internal politics has affected students and learning environment also has led to resignation of other good faculties. Program is of two years; four semesters.Post 2020 scoring has become quite lenient.Post 2020 barely no fails, I think its common across other colleges. As only MM, HR, FM optionals are available and no DA, the curriculum is outdated. While all basic facilities are given ,usage of digital boards is not happening.
Interview Experience
There was no GD, interview for admission. KMAT is primary entrance. No separate entrace exam, selection process is there. Mostly it is first come first serve system, so as early you contact you will get admitted.
Night Life
It is a tier 2 town. Not much of nightlife.Where as gym is available.Cafetaria is very basic fit only for coffee and tea. Locality is safe and sound. Hostel is available at a walkable distance. Timing-9:00-5:15
