Unforgettable days of my life

Our department should increase the faculty members so that a professor can teach more beyond the syllabus. They should acknowledge the students about the project ongoing in university so that student can take part and learn more. A mic should be provided to the professors so that professors voice can reach to the last row.

Course syllabus is short but sufficient but some important BSc topics are not included which are included in other universities and some extra topics are also there. Professors suggest foreign authors books for better understanding. Exam structure is good. They conduct semester wise exam. In each semester two mid terms. Four semester in M.Sc.

Not good in placements and students donot know which projects are ongoing in university. That is the duty of professor to acknowledge student about the ongoing project in university. But in that aspect our university is not good

Seminars occurs time to time in university. Our university provides specialization in energy. So seminars are mostly related to Solar energy in which students across india take participate and submit their projects and give their presentations. our university have a tie up with durham university , UK a leading university in solar energy. All indian festival which should be celebrated are celebrated in our university. There is a sports week per year in which students take part in different games.

Feasible My course fee per year (two sem) is estimated Rs.17000 only which includes development fee, registration fee, tuition fee, sports fee, caution fee(Rs.1000) , exam fee and etc. The two year expenses in college is Rs. 35000 only

No our university donot provide any scholarship but all national scholarships(like inspire scholarship, JN scholarship, etc.) are valid. I don't know regarding loan facilities as i have not applied for loan , not my any friend.

Extracurricular activities are like NSS programs in which we have to clean the area which is given to us. We travel to a village (Dungarjya) to listen the problems of villagers and make a report of that and submit to our respected NSS Professor. Labs are only for experiments which are in our syllabus. About sports there is a sports week in a year in which different games like cricket , table tennis, badminton, race (200m, 400m, 1km), tug of war, kabaddi, volley ball, etc. These activities are conducted smoothly in college because every student enjoys doing that.

No, because at my time the hostels are under construction. But as i have heard from my juniors that hostels are good the total expense for six months including food is approximate Rs. 15000 only. This also includes washing of clothes and hostel sports fee.

Yes, alumni meet is conducted every 3-4 year period. Senior student are helpful as they provide their notes of each subject so that we donot have to do that much hard work but in my point of view that is wrong. I made my hand notes in every semester so that i can have a deep understanding of subject. Seniors who are selected at good places share their experiences and motivate us to do that in our own way.

I filled the online application which is available on website uok.in . The merit list is based on your B.Sc. percentage. My name appeared in 3rd merit list and I got a call from department that your name is present in merit list and the respected faculty asked me that are you interested?. And i said yes and next morning i submitted the fee and verified my document from the staff appointed.

Faculty are good. But some faculties are awesome. Every topic included in syllabus is discussed by respective professor. Professor KP Maheshwari taught us Classical Mechanics in first sem. quantum in second and electrodynamics in third. He is an awesome teacher and teaches like a friend. But some professor teach only limited syllabus.
