Course Curriculum Overview

5

I didn't wanted to be a part of crowded college and that's why I chose this as just 36 students in entire batch and it's amazing that when students are less studies vulnerability part is almost a goner. Seniors helps with notes and library has question banks as it makes academics easier and also top projects are assigned to us right from second semester.

Placement Experience

5

Lucky that I am doing ECE as companies like Huawei and Samsung are among the companies that hires our branch students. I am not sure about placements and all as how and when they are done is little far from in the year which I am currently studying.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our yearly fees is 40000 a year as I am enrolled under SC category as otherwise the fees is 1.5 lakhs a year. My friends from general category pay the same fees but for SC/ST students it's 40k a year. For OBC students it's 75-80k a year.

Campus Life

4

One of the biggest NITs is ours as it is spread in over 300 acres. Yet just 4 buildings in all which also includes our admin building. Two libraries, two canteens and rest is play field as we can play sports in the gardens of the college which are beautiful like anything. For three days it's a complete thrill as our annual fest Atulyam is celebrated for three entire days.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are great as 4 boys and 2 girls haotels with various room options. Since many students are from far off states so cuisines and dishes always have variety at our mess. We don't eat parathas in North East for breakfast but our mess have that atleast once every week.

Admission

AIEEE is the way to get NITs and for those who don't get IITs, NITs are always there second choice. So I would be probably lying that NIT was my first choice, it were IITs. However coming from the same state, a lot of travel time is saved and hence I am happy that I was rejected in JEE mains.

Faculty

5

There's a condition that faculties are good only if we are good to them. This is a little problem as some of them are quite interested while some show ho interest in teaching. So it's 70-30 as my rating would be little less when it comes to the faculty of our college.

Night Life

5

Campus has all and hotels and cafes are quite far. Mountains and lakes are nearby though and for commuting college bus is the only choice. There are just two restaurants nearby and one of them local tribes restaurant is our first pick.

The course curriculum was good. But it should be better by including more practical and site visits for better learning. The exams were not that much difficult you can pass easily. Exam frequency was also good

The Electrical Engineering course curriculum is quite comprehensive, covering key areas like circuit analysis, electronics, and power systems, which has well-prepared me for real-world applications, although incorporating more hands-on projects and industry insights could further enhance its relevance.

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.

The placement are very good here. I have joined recently so yah I don't know much about the highest and average placement of the institute. The highest percentage among all is from mechanical. The students of mechanical engineering had a higher percentage of jobs as compared to other branches. I will do M.Tech after my B.Tech.

There are lot of curriculum activities such as National Cade Crops( NCC) and National Sevice Scheme (NSS ) NSS helps student to develop their characters and personality which will have positive impact on the community or society.
