Course Curriculum Overview

4

actualy it is the growing era of AI and Ml . in current years ai is on boom and have a vast scope in future. there is top class hackathons , one of best faculties , upgradataion of course content regulary . they need to be more friendly with the students to make a good environment.within a sem exam happens 3 times before the final exam out of which marks of 2 are considered and one final semester end exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

major recurtiers are Amazon , TCS,HdFC,ICICI.the offer process typically involves a selection process with rounds of aptitude tests, group discussions ,technical interviews, HR interviews . And many companies provides pre - placement offers.

Placement Experience

4

There is desend placements through the college . companies like bosch,Tcs,nokia etc visit here and provide desend placement.Students have become eligiblr for placements and innternships form 2.5 years or 5th sem.Placement rate is very high of the college , for cse it is about 80%..i plan to get placed before getting degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

i paid yearly 3 lakh approx fees as a student of BE- Aiml . the fees is increasing regularly like in past year 2023 the fees was about 2.2 lakh but this time fees sudden increase about 80,000 per year .they charge lab fees about 20000-25000 that is involved in 3 lakh.i belongs to general category and i am from haryana and come here through comedk. The person who enter here through kcet have to pay 1 lakh per year for the same course and even the person have category lke sc,st etc and they belong to same state they just have to pay 35000 fees per year .like one of my friend who is from north karnataka paid only 35000 for his entire year and even due to his category he also gets his college at very low rank . there is also a state scholarship applied in college that is only for karanatka that is provided by government . (student with 85 and above percentage)

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good in bmsce . there is a fest biggest fest in may that is UTSAV in even sem and other is phaseshift occurs about nov or dec. There is lagre varities of books avail in library , even teacher don't suggest to buy book hey ask to issue from lib. There is a big sport event known as Krredautsov in which i personally participate . it includes kabbaddi , basketball , handball , cricket, football, kho-kho and also many indoor games for both men and women. more then 30 student run clubs are there in college.

Admission

it is the 2nd best college of the karnatka that i can enter through the comedk just after the MSRIT.I also apply for the MSRIT i get reject because my rank was not enough to get in there .We can get admitted here as 3 ways (comedk, kcet and management).Cutoff is below 5000 last year for all the cs and cs related branches.

Faculty

4

faculty to student ratio should be about 1:25 (appr.)faculties are very much engaging helpful and responsive.Mrs Rajshree Mam is my favourite faculty , she is a fantastic maths teacher who supports students.i do not like sreevidya chemistry sir , he scold me one time due to enter in class without his permission. There is three exams before sem exams out of which marks of two are counted and they are very easy and totally class notes based.

Night Life

2

My favourite spot is law college buildind and it's park due to best greenery and nature.Gym is okay-okay in college , not that much good.library have two section , one as usual open from 9 to 5. and other one is refernce section opens from 9am to 8pm. campus timing is mainly from 9 to 4.30 and there is break from 1 to 2pm.hostel life inside the college is quite good for the students, but they mainly provide hostel for seniors or to NRI's.There is many places to hangout like cubbon park, chinnaswammy ground, iskorn temple , big bull temple , lalbagh and banerghatta zoo.eventhough night like is not much safe for girls , due to residents of there.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
