An overview of my college

My main aspect of choosing this course was my interest in software field I didnt choose it on the aspects of curriculum as every universtiy has its own curriculum. The curriculum present in Btech field is bit off according to 1st year but it does seams from the 2nd year and furthure it would be great anyways. Teaching method is good of all the teachers but in curriculum it could have been easier for a 1st year student with some non relevant units in subjects. The frequency of exams in ipu universtiy is every 2 months exams are not that difficult.

There are internship drives held in our college one of them was held recently a company named DEVTECH was there for the internship drive with a stipend of 5-10k. Project was for about 2-3 months as I remember but being a 1st year student i dont have much info over it as well.

The students from the 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. I havent got much info over the companies visited to our campus as I am just a 1st year student but the comapnies i know that have visited till now are TCS and DEVTECH offering a intership placement package of 5-10k. According to the review I heard form others the placement cell provides a package of around 4-5 LPA.

JIMS EMTC has a fee structure of 1 lakh 50 thousand for the course of btech CSE in which it is divided in different category it contain 96000 as university fees and 52000 as college fees which is furthure divide in to many categories like tution fees exam fees security deposit. No our college do not have any scholarship but the university through which it is infulenced so have a scholarship for EWS students which has a crietria that student should not have back in any subject and should have a distinctive passing marks

There is an event usually called as college fest held by our college and university too during the month of february this year in our college fest raftaar was invited and university fest there were multiple artist like sunanda sharma and Mohd. Irfan. The library contains many books over different things. Classes have ACs and projectors. There are multiple clubs in out college cultural tech and sports all do conduct events on regular basis. Extra curricular activity in sports there are many sports played here cricket, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tenis, carrom, chess, ludo etc.. but the courts we have are of only the sports basketball volleyball badminton and cricket ground.

the addmission process in ipu university is on councelling basis and I do think the reason of mine getting this college was becuase of my low rank in jee mains while there is another way of joining the college that by giving the paper called CET conducted be ipu university every year for every course.

faculty to student ratio is about 1:28 the relation between the student and faculty are good and supportive great interaction with teachers they help me out through a lot. There are many faculties I do like as they help us a lot i wont be giving the names out here. Our university has a new type of exam pattern in which we the internal and external marks a divided as follow 40/60 and to pass in any subject you need overall 40 internall + external so it becomes bit easy to clear all exams there are very less students who fail to pass the exam any ways the course for the 1st year any branch btech curriculum is a bit irrelevant.

i do not have much information over the night life in my college as I am a dayschooler overall there are not much places to roam around like there is a venice mall nearby and a mall is curently being build neraby to JIMS.
