Life at nims

My course of bsc cardiac perfusion is really a very interesting course. It provides you the opportunity to work closely with the cardiac surgeon in a cardiac surgery. Though this field is a bit challenging but the outcomes of this course is really very fruitful

Our course is a full time 3 years course with an additional 1 year of internship at the end of course. The internship is compulsory to get the degree here The internship here provides us with clinical exposure and builds our practical knowledge

Our course is totally a practical hospital based course so this has no placements here we have to apply at different hospitals ourselves after completing the degree as hospitals don't come in search for perfusionist. Whereas the engineering sector has a good placement record

I'm currently pursuing the course bsc cardiac perfusion batch 2022 The course fee structure is as follows Course fee- 75000/yr Club fees- 6000/yr Id card fee- 100/yr Examination fee- 7000/yr Uniform fee- 5000 only for first yr Hostel fee 3 seater non ac non attached washroom- 100000/yr 3 seater non ac attached washroom- 125000/yr 3 seater with ac attached washroom -150000 Hostel fees include mess and laundry Laundry has two washes per month for every student Mess gives breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner

The campus of nims university has 4 restaurant, 2 cafes, 1 store open for 24 hrs, 1 stationary shop and a temple. Moreover the campus is very modified and almost everything is open for 24 hrs without any restrictions at hostel. There are many fests organised here such as the 8 day festival of navratri is celebrated as garba night here. A sports event of intercollege competition is organized There are ample amount of books available at the libraries

Hostel facilities here are very good I mean I really like it. The rooms are very much furnished and bathrooms are hygienic. The hostel primus block is really a prime version of hostels as its like an own apartment. The room is provided with a bed table chair Cupboard mattress etc The room is cleaned every alternative day by maids Mess provides good food but it's all veg so non vegetarians will face a problem here whereas they can order food from Le Gabriel or vista which is inside the university

Since I've opted for the course bsc cardiac perfusion, a course which is not easily available at the other universities and the universities which provided this course had a non affordable fee structure and was very costly but nims provided the same course at a very affordable fee along with a 50% scholarship for the first year for the students who scored above 80% in 12th

The faculties at nims university are very helpful and understanding and are ready to help. The hod of our course bsc cardiac perfusion technology who is Dr Ujjwal Chaudhaury a renowned cardiac surgeon who served at aiims delhi is the most best faculty I know till now he gives his best to provide us with the knowledge in our field. The faculty which I didn't like is now expelled from college for his deeds Since my course is yearly so it has two internal exams of 30 30 marks and an university exam of 70 marks

The campus has its own gym and sports Complex. There is no such hostel in and out timings. We can go anywhere anytime inside the university but the university in and out timings are 5pm to 8pm at weekdays and 9am to 9pm at weekends
