Pros and Cons of Cims Bilaspur

The curriculum is set by nmc and it regulates all the colleges of India. The curriculum tries to include the clinical subjects from the 2nd year and there is mandatory clinical postings for everyone. There should be improvements in clinics as we are not learning the practical skills that much. The exams are held every 2 3 months so it helps us in revising

There is one year of compulsory internship in my college. At this time you get lots of good exposure and real time experience. The stipend is 15900 per month. The interns are sometimes working more than 100 hours in a week so that should be resolved and less work load should be given

The fees of my college including hostel is 50000 per year and it is same for all the government medical colleges in chhattisgarh. This fees includes all the library facility development fees Admission fees as well. The fees is same for any category. We also get scholarship from government. For Sc/St category it is 59500 whereas for obc category students it is 48500,General category or ews category don't get any scholarship from government. For getting scholarship for obc student you should be in non creamy layer that is your yearly income should be less than 8 lakhs.

We celebrate Ganesh chaturthi Krishna janmashtami every year. In library there are enough books available for each subjects. Facilties are well here three are Ac equipped lt Extracurricular activities are not that good here There is no as such club in my college

Hostel Facilties are good here in 1st year but later on the hostels are not that good. The meal quality is good here and in specials are there in Sunday Wednesday. Hostel registration is simple here you can opt for hostels at any time

I wanted the best college of my state Jnm Raipur but I got the second best colleges of my state that is Cims bilaspur due to lack of numbers. You have to clear neet cutoff after that you will get admission in the college then you have to verify your documents. Cutoff for my college is 625 630 for general category

Faculty to student ratio is good enough in some departments but lacks in some department for example physiology there are less faculties. The faculties i liked is Dr. Kamal Basan Sir from Anatomy Dr. Presenjit Raut sir from pharma. The faculties which I didn't like are those who just come for showing slides and reading nothing else

No I didn't faced any group discussion during admission and there were no interview questions asked at the time of admission. The process of admission is only by clearing neet exam I asked to relatives about admission procedure

There is no gym in my hostel however there is library in college with study room which is fitted with Ac. The timings for girls are 10pm but there is no as such restrictions in boys hostel Hangout places are good here as college is located in city so you can have access to mall cafeterias etc
