- Even in course like BCA ladies were sparse and I feel, a quota should be reserved for them too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, BCA today is a course for students who don't like going for engineering and waste an year more. Most of the stuff which is taught in engineering was taught to us as well. So no margin of error was left in our course.
Internships Opportunities
It's the IT hands and tech enabled Start-ups are the ones who hired us. Not many of us though as minimum requirement came in 2023 came at 12 students required for internships. A stipend of 10-12k was offered.
Placement Experience
Wipro, Happiest Minds and likewise a name which we know or for that matter everyone knows existed here for placements. If engineering students want to brag 10-12 lakh annum jobs then it means they would have paid double or more for what we paid. I have already passed my graduation and working in an MNC where I was placed from campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College which is affiliated to GSSIPU is a top college. The fees is still less if you compare it with its peers like MAIMS and VIPS. All i paid was 66000 year and inside 2 lakhs I passed my BCA from there.
Campus Life
Anugoonj our annual cultural fest and then we have Lohri, Diwali and Holi also celebrated at our college. Sports fest is also organized and Ball Pool Tournament was there. Many colleges in and around Delhi became the part of our college sports fest. We have distinctive personality and sports facilities at our campus.
Admission
Admission happens on merit here as caption fees are non negotiable here. Sports quota students, army quota and minorities do have special quota but otherwise for general students it is tough to get here. Cut-off for entrance was 94 percentile in 2021 and today it must be 96 or more.
Faculty
We have exceptional faculties who made us ecstatic during the classes. The way doubt solving lessons happened and same thing repeated as many times we wanted. This is nothing but for sure real at SGTBIM&IT.
Night Life
Model Town as we all know is quite hyped and it's because of some of the top cafes that are there in our college area. Some renowned cafes are Penta Cafe, Youth Cafe, and Mihit Cafe to name just a few of those.
