Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is more based on what is the requirement cuurently in the industry and changes are made every year to maintain its standard and quality.Areas of improvement needed in teaching methods is that instead of just reading the ppts, it will be nice if teacher uses some practical way to explain the concept or adds more examples to the slides. The Class tests occur within a gap of month and their difficulty level is moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year twice we will be paying Rs.62,500 as tution fees for each sem, there will be yearly fees of Rs.20,000 and one time admission fees of Rs.29,200. There is complete fee remission for students who have family income less than one lakh and 2/3rd fee remission for students's whose income is between 2 -5 lakh.

Campus Life

5

The annual cultural fest is Festember and technical fest Pragyan, which is the only student organisation that has a ISO certification. Festember will happen in october and Pragyan in february mostly. There are more than 5 lakh books in the library and they are aesily accessible. We can take 5 books at a time from the library. There is college contingent team for most of the well known sports and there is exclusive sports complex in the campus. There are many student run clubs in campus like Delta - coding club, 180DC - Consultancy club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

The room have two beds and two set of table chairs, wifi router is also present in every room. The food is good and there are vareity of messes like south indian, north indian, andhra, etc. Registration process for hostel is done during admission or else it can be done at the hostel office.

Admission

I chose the college because it is a prestigious institute and its in top 10 in NIRF ranking, it also have good placemnt history. The fees is also moderate when compared with other private college with equal standards. I got seats in Vellore Institute of Technology and PSG, I chose my college over others because of it affordability and quality. To get admission here we should write JEE MAINS exam and should have 95 percentile minimum.

Faculty

3

The faculty - student ratio of NIT Trichy is 1:11. The faculties are kind with students and they are easily approachable any time. There are two class tests in between the sem and there is one end semester exam. The exam papers toughness vary from subject to subject and mostly they are moderate. More than 90% of students clear the exam. The curriculum is good and its more relevant to its real life application.

Night Life

5

There is no closing time for boys in the hostel however main gate exit time closes at 10pm. Girls have curfew after 9:30 pm. There many snack places and there is anjappar hotel, Cafe Coffee Day inside the campus. There is girls gym in girls hostel itslef and biys gym in the sports complex.
