Remarks

Positive remarks are the crowd and the events organised by the college. The fests keep on coming throughout the year. You never feel bored. The negative remarks is the faculty of the college. The faculty and the examination checking pattern needs to be revised. The faculty needs to be correct in their approach towards students.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

There are 2 exams per semester. The course curriculum is alright. But it would be better if it is revised. The exams are of average difficulty. The pattern is alright. What effects the students is the marking of the exams. The Final exams for each semester are sent to the university for checking and the checking isn't fair. Half of the time the exams are left unchecked and students are marked as Fail.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements are good for the Master's courses. The Bachelor's courses also get placements but not very good. Impractical jobs are offered to the students such as you are asked to live in a seperate state for a job and you are paid an amount which cannot even match your monthly expenses so basically you need to rent a place in that area and pay the bills from your pocket

College Events

4.5

There is a main college fest known as Koshish held once every year. It is a very good fest. There are lots of fun activities for the students to take part in. Then there are small fests for every festival. Students put up food stalls and games to make it more interesting. The events is the best thing about the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is also average. I paid around ?25000 per semester for my Bachelor's in Computer Applications Degree. The Fee for Foreigner students is a bit expensive. There are a lot of students from different countries like Sri Lanka, South Africa, Lesotho, Sudan, Yemen, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a scholarship that is actually a government recognised scholarship. It has a criteria to be matched and the student needs to be regular in order to meet the scholarship needs. Loan facility is not offered by the college or not that i know of.

Campus Life

3

There are computer labs, chemistry labs and sports rooms in the two campuses. The sports room has Billiards and Table Tennis and you can also play Football, Cricket, Badminton and Basketball in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good. The teachers for the respective Degrees manage a social media group where the keep the alumni updated about the upcoming events. Alumni meets are organised by the college.

Admission

I was called for an interview after applying for the course. I cleared the interview which the Unit Head conducted and got the admission. The curriculum is a bit absurd. Needs improvement. Should be revised on the University's end.

Faculty

1

Faculty is average. The main thing that makes the college an average college is the faculty. Only a handful of teachers are concerned for the students. Most of them don't even have knowledge about their respective subjects. There is a lot of politics in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a lot of interest in programming languages and in computer and how computer works. In future ,technology and application will be widely used . This course is appropriate for choosing according to my interest. This curriculum prepares me alot for this real world applications because future generation is totally dependent on AI tools or technology . I suggest in improvement of modernising technology, you have to focus on practicals for this curriculum. The exams are correct like starting at 9 :30 and ends at 12 :30 . Each student have different timing for their exams according to their course.

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is not relevant anymore. BCA is like new BA, but a sophisticated one. Everybody's doing BCA nowadays. I can't figure out the reason. But skill based learning is lacking and sadly this course is providing nothing but degree holding unskilled graduates (most of them). Though some who really explore the skills and work on themselves are achieving good jobs.
