my college review

the curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits . they teach us how to face the real life problems. according to me the frequency and timing of exams is good but sometimes there is a clash of two exams so the authority needs to be consider about timing of other exams the difficulty level of exams is not so harder.

the internship opportunities is avaiable in our college . The students of second year have to do this. i personally have to do internship. we have to do various tasks like about entrepreneurship how a entrepreneur works thinks and do business.

no campus placement is offered to students but the students got internship program for 10 days to experience real life. as campus placement is not happening so after completing graduation i am doing mba for that i have to give entrance test of cat and get into govt iim college to pursue further studies. along with graduation i am doing chartered accoutancy course so if i passed my ca intermediate in may25. then i go for this course.

The year wise fees is nominal for middle-class family. The average tuition fees for bcom students is 11000 per annum. The registration fees is 2500 per annum The college also given scholarship to students on the basis of their family income if their income is less than 800000 per annum then they give scholarship to those students to help them. The college also gives scholarship to those students who are well in sports . They give them many facilities .

the overall experience with campus life is very amazing. the college is organising various fests in a year like freshers party, musical fest and various other fests. the sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus is good . they encourage students to get participate in sports and other extracurricular activities. there are various social groups in colleges like nss, ncc groups and various others . the impact on student life is that they know how the real world is .

in jammu i chose this college because it is coeducation and in the other college coeducation is not available and in some the distance is far from my home. that's why i chose this college and to be honest that i selected this college is that it is near my computer classes. no i don't get rejection from other colleges i applied to. even i passed the cuet entrance test where i got good marks but due to personal reasons i didn't go for study outside jammu. i always feels regret for this. but in this college the admission is on my merit based not on any entrance test. first admision is on the basis of merit then on the basis of cuet entrance test . The percentage cutoff is at my time is 80%

the faculty to student relationship is very good and they are approaching us on the whatsapp groups and in colleges also they help us in any difficulty. I liked the way of teaching they teach us . Personally I liked Jagmeet mam because she is very talented and help the students when they are in difficulty. I don't like deepshikha mam because she makes other students demotivated and talks to them rudely. There are 2 types of exams held in a semester. one is minor and other is major . In minor mostly students are passed because they are very easy only one unit test is there. In major there are full syllabus exam and the passing percentage is 10%.

there is a library where all types of books are available. the campus timing is 9am to 5pm. the hostel timing is 6am to 8pm. i dont know that the locality is safe to roam around at night because i didn't stay there at night.
