In JD Institute we learned more of particular knowledge rather then book We have done every textile project particularly from embroidery to printing to dying each and every process we have done particularly

The fee structure of JD University is that there take the payment according to the students If student want to pay whole amount once Or want 2-3 installment it depend on the student and their parents

The Fashion Show event is a big event for every student Talking about the infrastructure JD Institute it is not that big like other institutes n colleges because the space is limited But the small building is created very differently

Admission

JD Institute is very good as we have done everything there particularly which is more easy and simple Teachers helps in increasing our creativity and knowledge so that we can come out with more creative and new ideas

Faculty

The faculty is good and very helpful As It was the 1 yr praogram we learned very much from that JD University conducts a fashion show in that all over india all tha JD student come n showcase there garments which is a very good event for every fashion student

Night Life

The night life is very happening as it is located in haus khas were the people go to handcrafted markets n exhibitions As the institute take us to Tours like gujrat surat etc were you can learn n explore thinks with your friends

Likes

The faculty is strict when it comes to studying
All the room are air conditioned so you don't feel hot during the summers
It's a girl's College so it's really safe.

Dislikes

The internet connection is really bad and you only get the connection in few corners of the college
They don't really organize many events and even if they do, they're not really special
The faculty in my college is pretty rude except one or two teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are overall 7 subjects in my course. The core subjects are Basic pattern making, fibre and yarn science, sewing techniques and basic design concept. There's no problem in any of them, all of the subjects are great. The extra subjects are English communication, environmental studies and computer applications. If I could say I have any problem with any of these subjects, I'd say it would be computer application because there are no computers in the college for us to practice on.

It is a very big and nice campus with so much greenery.
Their faculties are supportive and kind hearted.
They also prefer outdoor knowledge regarding my field interior designing

Dislikes

Their is no any canteen in the college and campus.
It started from 8.30am to classes were end around 5.00 it, gives us a school vibe and it should be changed.
Their washrooms are so so dirty and also their is no fecility of drinking water.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interior designing Course is very vast and beautiful in its own way because designing can add a more worthiness to any of your space and make you feel so nice and comfortable. They should improve their methods of teaching methods. Time they provide in exams is more than enough.

Placement Experience:

students can start freelancing from the first semester but students are only eligible for interviews after the completion of the second year. The average package is between 2-3 LPA, and almost 60% of students got placed this year till now.

Placement Experience:

One of the attractions that this college has is it's association with the famous recruiters that include top fashion designers like Manish Malhotra, Sabysachi and Rina Dhaka and top brands like Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger etc. With a record breaking placement percentage of 99%, all the students who manage to obtain a degree from this institution get a golden chance to associate or connect with the fashion industry by getting placed with these top recruiters. The reason behind this record breaking placement percentage is the way this institute nourishes every child and prepares him to be ready to sit for a placement. For that, Jd Institute helps in Portfolio Development which is the most important criterion that one has to excel in. Apart from that, there are Placement Workshops that are conducted that help students in resume writing, presentation skills, time management etc which are all extremely informative. My plan afte getting this degree is to get a campus placement.

Life & Times as a student @ JD!

Placement Experience:

In a one year Diploma course, students are eligible towards the end of the final semester. After all modules are nearly completed and submitted. I was offered an internship with a US based entreprenual start up company. This came via JD Institute. I recieved a monthly stipend of 5000/- INR iniitially. This project is still on even as i submit this review.Nearly all students who are actively interested in internships are provided adequate assistance and opportunities by the Institute. Regularly "Job Opportunities" were posted with numbers, providing all details/ options of what one can apply for and expect to do. Some of these are very interesting and promise a lot of exposure if one can undertake these. Many well known brands require fresh talent, and they are more than willing to give opportunities to freshers. My plans are to do internship with a well known fashion designer so as to get groomed in managing my own enterprise in the future.

My college is very good. Good study and better atmosphere. Good teachers. They are very supportive also. Good supporting management. And we lucky to have a good study atmosphere and play ground and also have the physical equipments. Iam so happy.

Fashion Designing has been my passion since my childhood and when I finally decided to follow my passion, I started my research about different colleges and different courses & shortlisted 2 colleges, Edu Brain Academy and Jd Institute of fashion and technology, Hauz Khas as they were amongst the highest rated colleges for fashion designing. In order to move ahead with my admissions, I applied in both colleges considering the reviews. All went well until I took the demo class with Edu brain Academy where the way of teaching of the faculty was very strange because they preassumed that we know everything and they just need to brush up our knowledge. This made me drop Edu brain academy from my list and I went ahead with Jd institute as they have an absolutely simple admission process with minimum eligibility of 12th pass and we need to fill an admission form with a minimal admission fee.
