Likes
- The crowd is decent here. You'll get both some who are good in study some not so good but overall the crowd is good
- The university is serious when it comes to academics. This can be a negative part for some but positive for some.
- You can sit for placement in the main campus too if you have good score in semesters. It opens more opportunity.
Dislikes
- The college is strict when it comes for academics. It feels sometimes you're in school.
- Placement is decent. It can be improved I guess.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course designed here is old tradional. It can be improved and can be made more of skill related. I am not saying job oriented because many students now want to go for startup so it should be made in such way but it is still the old tradional course.
Internships Opportunities
Some stundents get internship in 3rd year but I have heard from some seniors and I even know some who got internship 2nd year only in the starting of 2nd semester. But the college also provides internship mainly in some IT companies.
Placement Experience
The placement in our college is decent. The average is 6 lpa whereas the median is 9 lpa . The highest package offerd was 32 lpa but it can go more because the placement round is still going on for some companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee here for cse core branch is 3lakh where for other it is lower if you go for some specialization.it is lower. And the ROI is also decent for what you pay and if you put some effort you can grab some good placement. They also provide scholarship in 1st year based on the entrance test rank. It varies for campus to campus. In ktr i.e the main campus and ncr you'll have to grab a rank upto 350 to avail scholarship.and for other campus it goes higher
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is good. But as the college is strict about academics you'll sometimes feel very pressurized. You'll get assignments and projects frequently. There are ground for sports and it is overall good. You can play whatever you want to
Admission
The eligibility of the course if you have to get 60% marks in 12th in pcm aggregate. Then you'll have to give it's entrance test i.e SRMJEE. In that by the rank you scored you'll have to go for choice filling. The cutoff for cse if somewhere upto 2500 for combined campus. The one thing I didn't liked was that in the choice filling you'll get only one option for campus and course. Whereas in other colleges you get more options.
Faculty
The faculty here are decent. Some of them are very young and friendly too which helps students interacting and opening up in a better way whereas some faculty members are strict. The faculty here listen to your problems. If you keep a good bond with them you'll face no problem
Night Life
the night life in college and around the college is 0 literally 0. you need to come to hostel before 7 and you will be locked in hostel at 10.There's no night life in college. around the campus too the night life is 0. there's nothing around the college where you can go at night
