Course Curriculum Overview

3

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships were offered in the college but they won't make any improvement in our career just for name sake they are offering. A CSE student need to work of software development domains like programming, web development , AI, DSA, etc... but the internships are based on the hardware which doesn't make sense

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined in college the fee structure depends on the percentage in subjects that we have scored in 11th and 12th If we are having above 80% - 150000 70%-80% - 200000 60%-70% - 250000 60% and less - 300000 And the above mentioned are only tution fee apart from that Hostel fee - 32000 ( without mess/food ) Bus fee - 45000 ( depends on AC and non AC bus ) The fees structure has changed now and the base fees is about 200000

Campus Life

4

In students Life choosing a clear goal in their career is much important for everyone. College is not only about scoring grades . It's about learning life Through the way we will be facing good and bad . Good gives us memories and bad gives a lesson about life .

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is good and it's maintained neatly. only drawback about hostel is there is no mess and food provided here. Students have to eat their breakfast, lunch ,dinner in the canteen. Having food outside or in canteen is not good for health and not healthy Good thing about hostel is it's security.

Admission

My first preference is given to BHARATH UNIVERSITY in Tambaram, chennai. But my cousin completed his graduation in saveetha . So that's one of the reason that I have joined this college. Even I am ok with our college by listening to the situations of other colleges feeling that I am greatful of joining this

Faculty

3

The course selection is totally different in saveetha The student need to select the faculty that she/he is interested in and he/she will be completing the under that faculty. Internals will be given by the faculty and the corrections or evaluation will be done by the lab external. The marks in semester exam , practical, research and capstone project will be combined to get overall of 500 If students scores 450-500 -S grade 400-450 - A grade 350-400 - B grade 300-350 - C grade The minimum marks need to be scored in the theory semester examination is 50/100 Same repeats in practicals

Night Life

2

I am not that good in having or enjoying nightlife as my parents don't like it . I am happy with their decision becoz it's not good for a student to enjoy their nightlife becoz there were many situations where my friend has lost their lives . According to my knowledge this is the time to focus on our career.

Other Applied Colleges

Saveetha School of Engineering - [SSE] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I am from Andhra Pradesh and I completed my school in my state but when it comes to graduation I am interested to have degree from a good university and apart from that our college is in other state so there can be some improvement in my communication ski

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.
