Course Curriculum Overview

4

For my course it is actually mostly practical but they don't give us the practical experience and mostly are theory which is difficult to understand. But still the methods make it a bit easy and easier for exams but my thought is to give more practical experience

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many companies which gave the internship opportunity from the college and they had around 3.5 lakhs LPA and we had the permission to go to other states for the internship. Interviews were taken and the selections were happening at the earliest

Placement Experience

3

Placement trainings are not given for my course but there are internships interview from the college side which can be given in the final year and we can also get selected and go to the internship there are many companies who offer the internship

Fees and Financial Aid

For my course the fee amount was 90000 per year and there are scholarships too. If you get 8.5 sgpa in 1 year then you feel can be reduced to 85000 for that year and if u get 9 sgpa it can become 80000.

Campus Life

3

There are many clubs in the college which can be joined in the interest of students and they will perform for events and other places to. There are permissions to go out of college competitions. There will be events going in the college only so they are good to see many new things and experience new things

Admission

Comparing to other colleges this college had a good name and this was the college around 20 kms had the course I want which is bachelors in journalism and mass communication. And mainly I liked the campus and infrastructure of this college

Faculty

4

The faulty are good and bad both it is based on the person but overall everyone are good they can be approached at any time even with any stressed things. Exams are ways if you study and it is relevant. Mostly everyone pass in the exam

Night Life

3

There are gym in college which inside the campus and about the hostel there are different rules for boys and girls and girls have the more strict ones. Coming to the food it is worst not the worth of the money. The night life can be while night it will be good until u don't disturb others

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Speaking of psychology and Criminology, hands on to their interactive classes with real life examples which makes learning more interesting, the department also held orientation programs and sessions for students. Speaking of English department they need to improvise the faculty for the English departmentm rest eveything is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good only if you're interested in AD&PR, graphic design, and videography but not good if you're interested in journalism. The salary packages ranged from 2 to 5 LPA. I didn't get placed because of the unavailability of jobs that interested me during the college placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BA course since I always wanted to get into the teaching field, which I luckily have The staff and teachers are well qualified in their respective fields and are always ready to assist you. Modern teaching methods are implemented to help students grasp the subject better. Exams are held semester wise and they are a cakewalk if you revise the old question papers well. Also teacher's notes and reference book details are extremely useful during exams

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is ONLY for the BCA department students. For other departments there's no campus drive. And if at all there's some drive going on in the nearby college, they'll ask us to go there and try (on our own, with no notice of the college). I didn't get any campus placement during the course, I myself got few interviews and I'll work after the course .
