As this was the oldest and our traditional science of knowledge it made me influenced to choose this course The areas to improve are the teaching should be bit more practical than just theory and require more practical exposure We are having a periodic assessment exam every month

We will be having 1 year internship from our college in which 6 months we will be working in our college OPD and rest 6 months in District headquarter hospital The stipend is 24k / month and may increase in the following years

Our courses consists of 3 professionals,with each professional fees is rupees 10500 including all the fees This fees is for all the categories students We also get scholarship of rupees 20000 per year Name- post matric scholarship, odisha state portal

Every year our college conducts Annual function which lasts for 2 days filled with special guests Cultural events etc, it often takes place in January month of every year The range and availability of books is quite good in our college Every year our college conducts Annual sports meet in the month of December or January

I applied for 2 college's 1) Gopabandhu ayurvedic mahavidyalaya,puri 2) Government ayurvedic College, Bolangir I got rejected from Gopabandhu ayurvedic mahavidyalaya, puri due to lower marks than that college cut off but it got admission into the other The admission is through online counselling process under OJEE counselling and the admission is through NEET Entrance test, eligibility is completing 12th Exams with PCB subjects with minimum of 50 percentile

There faculty to student ratio is quite good talking about our first professional year there are 12-15 faculty members for our 73 students I like every faculties of our college There are 3 university exams in the whole BAMS course and in before every university exam there Will be 9 periodic assessment

We don't have any gym, cafarias, library facilities in our college We have both Gents and ladies hostel in our campus There are no hangout places in our college but we can find some hangout places outside the college campus
