Review from KSSEM college student

I choosed computer science and business system course in this college. Soo basically it's a newly implemented course in our college. It has been only 3 years that CSBS course is implemented in our clg . So as per noww the teaching is nice and they gave information about the course during induction program time .

As I am still in 1st year I don't know much about internship thing . But as I heard from senior there is no proper internship thing our clg . But recently there was internship was going on for ece final year students .

When u talk about placement in our clg it is very poor . Like the average package in our clg is just ?3,50,000-?4,00,000. And the last year most of them who got placed was only from artificial intelligence and data science branch .

I got eligible for SNQ quota in kcet seat allotment soo i only paid 31,360 kcet government fees with that 10,000 college fees . Soo totally I paid 41,360rs for per year and as per I got to know that I will be paying the same fees for next 3 years also.

There is only two cultural festival in our college, one is kannada rajyothsava and the other one is college annual fest called aarohana. I haven't experienced Any of them cause I am in 1sem . And there are 3 clubs in our college like ieee, rotract club which is great they organise lot of events , tripa , trekking, parties .

I applied for many colleges like bms, ramaiah , pes, and also for ksit and manyyy colleges but i didn't get alloted for those colleges because of my kcet rank and also because of my course priority like I only wanted computer science related course . So in kcet I got 61000 ranking and i got allotted for CSBS in KSSEM clg that too with SNQ quota soo i liked the course cause it is of both like software and also business related course .

In our college the lecturers are friendly and the teaching is also great , they are approachable. They do give extra attention for dull students and also for urban students which is very great. And the lecturers do support for works l project making .

There is no gym facility in our college as per my knowledge and the college canteen is not that good , canteen is small and and there is only one canteen for 3 blocks and no proper lighting and the food is also not nice , not soo hygiene. Library is pretty good there are n number of books and it also spacious and we'll maintained. As I am a day scholar I don't know much about the hostel .
