Course Curriculum Overview
The computer science and also engineering is widely improving day by day. I will tell b.tech is better than a diploma. But in the case of placement and salary packages it will not be what we are thought of.
Internships Opportunities
No good companies are coming with the internship with stipends . If so the companies are there for the interships the higher authorities including principal is not letting or promote to go for the interships. They are giving importance to the regular classes as well as to increse the pass percentage of the college. The IT companies near infoparks are coming for interships. Also in all branches similar companies are ready for the internships.
Placement Experience
From the seventh semester the placements will begin to start. The average students with less number of arears will get a placement and the average package and average companies are coming here with less amount of placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is one of the best in ernakulam district. It has a wonderful architectural structure, with vast area located near kadayiruppu, kolenchery, ernakulam. The college has efficient lab and workshop facilities while comparing with the nearby colleges. The lab staffs are well supportive. It is having an affordable fee structure than the other self finanacing colleges. The fee structure mainly comes with tuition fees of Rs. 25000, and the other fees+lab fees+ development fee+registration fees of 15000 for a semester. Caution fees of Rs. 10000 is collected at the time of joining. They are offering NASB(Naval Architecture and Ship Building) course that is offering by only few colleges in ktu university. The college has well equipped library with thousands of books. They offer a scholarship and sponsorship programs based on plustwo marks, Keam rank, & family income. Also special considerations for sc/st students. The management and teaching staffs are changing mostly. It doesn't have a good playground facility. They are providing college bus to most of the towns. They also provide a good hostel facility.
Campus Life
There are several clubs and groups doing services and conducting programs in the college. The college is having national service scheme. They are also doing a good work to the society. There are lots of books and journals available in the college library.
Hostel Facilities
An average good facilities with affordable rates. The hostel menus are fixed by the seniors in the hostel. There will be both vegetarian and non-vegeterian food items. It is cooked there itself. It can be affordable to take hostel than pg's
Admission
You can contact our admission cell at any time in working hours. They will clarify your doubts and give more information about the fee structure and all. The comparing parameter with other colleges is the fees structure.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is less in the college, they are trying to recover it. There will be two internal evaluations ,assignment and attendance considering for the internal marks. The external exam done by ktu. The pass percentage is 50%.
Interview Experience
No.there are hours considered for this section but due to the unavailability of well know faculties the training is not going in the proper ways. It should need to be well preparations done to crack the interviews.
Night Life
Nightlife in and around the college is very much boring. The area near the college is located is not much good fit exploring the night life. The bus will not be plying there in the night time. Gym is there nearby.
