Course Curriculum Overview
It is good course for those who are willing to go deeper into a specific subject. The course curriculum can be improved by focusing on skill based courses. The exam frequency is good enough but he class days are less
Internships Opportunities
They provide internships in the semester breaks. For the science students they offer internship in institution like iit guwahati and all. There are minimal task to perform that is recorded during the internship
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the course is 16500 which need to be paid every semester that is of 6 months. We do get scholarships depending upon the eligibility criteria. That is if our parental yearly income is less than 4 lakhs we get a scholarship of 80000 every year
Campus Life
The infrastructure, campus and the club involvement are best in the entire state. It has the biggest indoor hall in the state. There are social groups like nss and else. Classrooms are also well equipped
Admission
I applied for Delhi University but couldn't get into it. Then I chose Gauhati University because of the overall experience shared by our seniors. The infrastructure, campus, courses are overall good .
Faculty
The faculty members are very supportive. The way their teaching is very good. The exam system is quite good. But sometimes there are delays in the result and some students face problem in marking system
Night Life
Night life is also quite interesting, the gates are open till 10 pm. Then outsider are not allowed except the hostel borders. The gyms, cafeteria and canteen are also available till that time. There are parks to hangout.
