For newbies

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each.And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.

Basically the yearly fees is 120000 , this 120000 includes tution fees,lab fees, development fees and other fees. But this differs according to the student's category, for general category 35000 will be paid by the government and for SC, ST category students pay only 3000-5000 rupees because majority of the fees is paid by the government, same applies in my case as well but I don't belong to SC,ST category . Actually I got free seat in this college because of my ECET rank.And there is the availability of scholarship as well , it is nearly 4000 per year.

Every year there will be 3 days of fest which includes tech day named "Baaswara", DJ night and the 3rd day is Annual day, this will be takes place in March or April. Including with this there are fests like freshers, signature day and random technical fests.I feel our library is the best library ever because you can get any relevant book without fail and newspapers, magazines and journals are also available there.Every student can take as many as books from the library for 15 days with there ID card and must return them after 15 days if not there will be penalty.Every classroom is arranged with smart screens and projectors, basic facilities like lights, ventilation, benches, fans board are on point.There is a football court, basket ball court, ground for cricket, vollyball and also have indoor games like carrom, table tennis,chess etc with all equipment. Also our College also have a gym for students.Every year all indoor and outdoor games are conducted by the college and the winner is praised with the trophy and encouraged for future.We have different groups for different interests like robotics club, college portal with helps alot for students.

Firstly I have applied for kmit college and I got rejected as the cut off was high than my rank which is 759 in ECET , then I decided to apply for Geethanjali college of engineering and technology as I suite for the eligibility criteria . As I expected I got selected and got admission in the college.The admission experience was good and simple, ECET and EAMCET exams are accepted for the B.tech admission and the cutoffs will change every year accordingly.

Basically the course curriculum is filled with all the current booming and important subjects, which helps the students to have good grip on the current scenario.Coming to faculty, every student in the class definitely have scope to ask questions and interact with faculty without any hesitation as the faculty makes sure to encourage students to ask questions. Every faculty in the college are on point for sure as they are experienced enough. Coming to exam system, every semester consists of 2 mids and 1 final sem examination . Mid is of 30 marks and the syllabus of 1st mid is unit-1,2 and half of 3 and for 2nd mid is another half of 3rd unit, 4 and 5 units, the question paper consists of 20 marks of question and answers and 10 marks is for objectives which are MCQs. And final exam is of 60 marks in which 10 marks is of 1 mark small question and answer and 50 marks are of long question and answer and the syllabus is total 5 units .

We have many hangout places like canteen, mango trees, ground etc where we can hangout and chill in our free time.My favourite place is manga trees , where I and my friends sit and enjoy the nature peacefully. We also have gym, library.We have hostel in our college as well.Coming to the locality, it is very quite and peaceful area near a village filled with greenary and it is completely safe.College also organises hackathons which are for 24 hours , they also provide accommodation for nights in the college to the students.
