- Mess food is hit or miss some hostel hv very bad food

Course Curriculum Overview
I choose my course that chemistry because of the fact that I had got the rank that came under it and another reason is chemistry department is quite old here even if kanpur chemistry department is better for core, you will get chance for non core too here. Courses now deal more on chemistry related stuff. No need for course improvement Frequency is near end and mid sem there will be exams mode
Internships Opportunities
Google microsoft Deloitte etc . Generally cs and ece ee people get intern mnc industrial too. Nvidia etc we get decent projects to boost cv by The companies and generally the stipend are high paying like 50k + rupees
Fees and Financial Aid
Each semester 1.5 lakhs or 1,50,000 rupees Includes hostel fees Mess fees Tuition fee of 1 lakh or 1,00,000 rupees Other expenses also covered within this like Gymkhana (need 1k for full yr membership) Sports court Other repair by hostel. *Each year you would pay around 3 lakhs or 3,00,000 rupees* Ews people have 66% cut of fees only tution for <5lakhs or 5,00,000.
Campus Life
Names of annual festival are kshitij which is a famous tech fest and spring fest one of the best fests in month of spring having jamming disco concerts performance. Sports from tennis cricket football table tennis badminton squash swimming etc a lot are covered. Clubs are a lot here from coding to dramatics to anime etc
Admission
I choose indian institute of technology Kharagpur because of its reputation, it's the first iit, houses so many events best culturally and also has guests of great importance visiting. I didn't apply any College I got it via josaa. I didn't get rejection cos I didn't apply anywhere else. To enter iit u need to crack jee advanced after jee mains
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is decently good it is around 1:30 nearly approx. The professor for first year are approachable on mail, even after class. They will clear your doubts. Maybe their teaching won't be that good but personal attention they'll give decent. Exams will be mid sem and end sem each year. If u have studied well it will go well. Course curriculum and some books are source of questions
Night Life
Decent nightlife with night canteens, library till 12am open until. In case of exams open 24/7. Gyms in each hall and common gym in gymkhana. Hostel open always no timings same with campus. Hangout places adda dominos tikka nalanda nehru museum main building helipad
