GITAM BLR in short

All the core subjects are relavant to the current industrial requorements. Along with core subjects there are many ellectives for us to choose, we can chose more techinacally related subjects or something completely different if u like to expand your general knowledge. Exams , labs and sem exams are not exactly well planned but are manageable.

Students are eligable for placemetns as soon as final year starts, but the the elegibility critiera changes from comany to company, generaly no active backlogs is the minimum but some companies ask 8 cgpa. From 2023 less than 10% students are placed in campus around 20% get jobs outside. Interms of campus placement it is very bad. After u graduate you are no longer eligible for placemnts, the just dont care about us anymore.

There is no regestration fee,Fee was to be paid before semister starts, but we could pay by end of the semester with small fine,but must be payed before semister ends as you wont be able to join the next semister. There is also no extra fee for exams or labs unlike other colleges. Payment seat fee was 98,000 per sem but if u get seat through kcet it is halved which is around 50,000.

Infastructure is good,always expanding and still vary spacious. Library contains every single book needed by studets from all branches.Sports department is active there is also an indoor and outdoor gym seperate for boys and girls.Not many party type events happen but there are hackathons and technology related events happening atleast once a week.Classroom are well furnisherd, large projector and central AC.

Hostel buildings are well maintained high speed wifi proper ventilation and all electronics are available, with etherenet cable.Food is mostly good, but might feel repetitive. Anyone studing in gitam can join hostel. many PGs are availabe if you want to live outside for other reasons.

Before actually joining I wanted to join this college because it is a large campus far from city and mainly provided 100% placement, but after joining i found that no college provides 100%placement espacally GITAM. You can get seat easily with rank ledd than1,00,000 in KCET. you can also write GAT exam to get further discount but have to maintain certain cgpa to keep it till the end.

Plenty of lectures are free at any given point of time so that we can meet them for any queries, they also have a spacious cabin where we can meet them. There are 3 internal exam each subject with most recently complete syllabus, assignments are also given. lab exam are conducted twice for a subjects and inclusing they are for 60 marks, maintaining record and observation for 40 marks. All the lecturers are friendly and ready to help in subject matters.

Plenty of space to play, cricket vollyball football and basketball court is available.Indoor and outdoor gym seperate for boys and girls.There is a sallon for boys caffeteria, a dairy and 2 bakeries open till 10pm.
