Course Curriculum Overview

5

I'm totally in love with my course . Ofcourse I liked the political science most so I opted for this. It is a multidisciplinary subject with allows the students to awaken their broad range of perspectives. Exams very easy to medium and revolves around the concept with are already covered in the class.

Internships Opportunities

2

I really don't have any idea about the internship program because I was in political science and haven't joined the placement cell , so can't say much about it . But I've seen some of my friends working under the placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid 15000 for semesters in bachelors making it 45000 for 3 consecutive years including everything . In masters I've paid 9000 for each year making it 18000 for 2 years including everything . Along with this there was examination fee for 800-900 depending on the papers for each semester.

Campus Life

3

Though we had many clubs in the college but I was involved in NSS where I experienced manu good things such as social involvement and sharing. Dance society was quite active . But many other societies weren't that active as they should be , being in north campus college.

Hostel Facilities

4

I was provided with fully furnished room in 17000 per head ,two seater . Food was very nice . It's quality and menu was rich . I was required to pay one month security in advance along with the one month rent . I was living in Kamla Nagar.

Admission

I choose it because it was in North campus of Delhi university and along with this here I was getting my favourite subject honours in political science. I got admission in two different colleges - Indraprastha College for Women and Venky but I wanted campus college so I choose it . Admission process is same just like other colleges of Delhi University.

Faculty

3

Faculty was good . They were very interactive. I liked my poltical science teachers most because thery provided us different perspectives for the discipline. There was also debates held on regular basis. Exams were held for each semester along with the internals and class tests.

Night Life

4

It was fabulous. This is one thing because of which students love the north campus life . Hudson lane has whole area of cafeterias. Meanwhile there is gym also - Anytime Fitness in kamla nagar . I haven't been to hostel because it was under construction for my college but in Pgs it's mostly flexible .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed by the renowned professors and faculty members from different universities in India and from abroad as well. The content was choosen keeping in mind to cover all the aspects of the specific subject for a pg student. As I mentioned before, the quality of study material was very good and helpful and very enough. But the pg thesis is missing from our course, due to which we were not able to do a research project. It appears to me after the completion of my first year that we can do our research under our given faculty but it wasn't mentioned in the course structure as it is mainly upto our faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.

The course that I opted for is Political Science and it is very relevant to the exam that I am preparing for. I often take help of the online material they provide. It is often recommended curriculum for UPSC/MPSC/political journalism. However they need to provide teachers or short video lectures do that the course become comprehensive.
