i've liked the atmosphere of the college and college has the best faculty
college has various cultural clubs like rangmanch, kalakriti,etc
college has the good placements and internship oppurtunuties

Dislikes

hostel fee is very much high compared to other pgs nearby
bus fee is very high compared to the other colleges
3km away from main road due to which we should take an auto

Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is well organised and faculty is very decent and classes are very regularly held . the college is a bit strict but has the scope to enjoy the college life. library is the ultimate pro in the total college .

Internships Opportunities

many multinational companies will reachout the college everyyear where they offer good internships with decent stipend many students crack their internships in their 3 rd year itself where they get the job through this internships

Placement Experience

the placements in the college are quite decents about 70% of the students get placed and others move abroad for their higher education. not only in placements this college is quite good in internships too

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee for any branch in cvr college of engineering will be 1.5lakhs . if you opt for college hostel which includes mess will charge upto 1.5 lakhs for ac and 1.25 lakhs for non ac . scholarships are offered to the students as per the criteria given by the state government.

Campus Life

campus has one canteen one first year block and other department blocks . college life is not so enjoyable in this college but can have good decipline and great education, college has the good infrastructure with well equiped labs

Admission

i got the seat in this college which i felt is good among the other options i have. as to compare my college is best in having good peer group . library is the one of the finest thing compared to other colleges.

Faculty

the faculty student ratio will be between 1:60 to 1:50 faculty is very trained .has many labs and decent number of computers in each sem there are 2 mid examinations and 1 sem examination which inlcudes internal and external examinations

Night Life

there is nothing to do in the nights around the college but in day time garden , stage , and canteen are the good places top hangout . college also has a huge cricket ground , one basket ball court , gym and more in the campus

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

See yes during my EAPCET councelling I don't know about this cvr college of engineering, its infrastructure, greenary , courses , placements . Were the first college is got is geetanjali college of engineering, but almost after such research I saw that it is not better than cvr college so for the second round i changes and make it to cvr .
