Remarks

The colleges i was targeting in karnataka were RV college of engineering, BMS college of engineering and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. The other colleges do not have a very good reputation in terms of placement

Course Curriculum Overview

My target was to take Computer Science Engineering in this college but i could not fulfil the cutoff and got cyber security instead. This course is also helpful in todays world and i dont think placement would be a problem

Fees and Financial Aid

Comedk- 280000 Kcet- 110000 Management- depends on course The fees is equal to all the other colleges in karnataka. But its worth it here and professors are quite knowledgeable. Hostel is clean and hygienic

Campus Life

The clubs in this college are quite good and our college does support it. If you are in a club then attendance would never be a problem. The college even keeps an inter course sports day where we can compete

Hostel Facilities

Facilities like fan, lights and bathroom are quite good and i dont have any complaints about it. The main problem is food. Its not hygienic and even insects are sometimes found in it. The taste is not very good but eadible

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Faculty

The faculty members are both good and bad. Our iee teacher is not good and does not give marks even if we deserve it. On the other hand our maths teacher is a great teacher and understands if someone is facing any problems

Night Life

The hostel gates close down by 930 and we are not allowed to leave our hostel after that. The security gaurd is a bit of a pain and does not allow studenta to go in each others room after 10. We are not allowed to make noise and honestly i think its a bit too much

Best Kept Secret

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for this year is the updated one. Its 2025 Scheme for the students. The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of CSE students for real life coding. The curriculum contains all required and updated topics which students from CSE background require to develop excellent skills for jobs and startups. There should be only one internal exam instead of two. Because, two internal exams tend to keep them involved more into college exams leaving very less time to build their extra skills. Thus there should be only one internal exam so that students can build their extra skills.

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, college starts to prepare you for campus placements the final year students are eligible for placements. Number of companies visited the campus named TCS, Jspiders/Qspisers and Kodnest. The highest package got in the placement is 9lpa and average package is 3.5lpa offered by the companies. 40% of students got placed. “I applied to a few other higher-ranking COMEDK colleges, but because of my low rank I did not get good CSE-based branches in those colleges.
