Student's Snapshots

Campus

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course clinical Nutrition and dietetics is growing concern nowadays and because of placements I joined this course. The college also provides internship . There are practicals and clinics that are conducted from first year itself ..that gives exposure to real life application

Internships Opportunities

4

For other courses of allied health sciences they provide one year of intership in KMC hospital It gives experience in our own campus For our course they do provide 1 year of intership But if you want more exposure you can do 6months here and next 6 months in different places.

Placement Experience

4

After completion of full course that is 3/4 or 4 and half years one is eligible for placements I don't have much knowledge on the companies and packages After bachelors degree I'm planning to do masters in same course

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year- 1 lakh 31 thousand 2nd year-1 lakh 21 thousand 3rd year- 1 lakh 11 thousand Internship-6months- KMC hospital Externship -6 months- our choice The fees is reducing by 10 thousand for each year During internship you get paid 1500 for a month

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is really good There are many festivals that are celebrated Aikyam, paraloon, pulse, republic day, marathon, diwali. There are hundreds and thousands books available in Library ..it's a huge one with 5 to 6 floors Classrooms have good facilities (ac,screen for ppt) There are many different sports activities and matches going on now and then(tennis, badminton, cricket, football, basketball) There is also sports day that is conducted in end point

Admission

I chose this college as it had course of my choice, which many colleges did not have And the campus ofcourse did impress me. I tried for Artificial intelligence engineering in Nitte but I was not so interested in engineering Admission process of our college is totally online from course selection to payment

Faculty

5

Faculties are available all the time to receive our doubts. They are happy to attend our questions. All the faculties were good in their own ways There are 2 sessionals and one final exam. It's mostly not that difficult. But then it depends on the subjects.

Night Life

5

Night life is more better since it's lighted nicely There is sports building called marena. It has gym and different sports areas. There are many food courts (KMC FC,NIH FC) and stationary shops in the campus. Campus timing is from 8am-5pm .hostel curfew time will be 6pm and as monthly basis it increases upto 12am Outside campus- basil cafe, MFC, Sharif Bhai, drink lab ,planet cafe, Arabian tasty and many more options Within campus we usually go to discussion room of library where we can peacefully discuss about subject Honestly I experienced night time only during functions as I'm localite One should be carefull while going out It's not completely safe also not that dangerous to go out at night

Other Applied Colleges

Nitte | Artificial intelligence

I didn't get good entrance marks

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
