It is affiliated to sppu (savitribai phule Pune University). 1 and 2 year pattern is 50 marks online exam mcq type.and 50 mark theory. For 3rd and 4th year it's 30 mark internal assessed theory and 70 marks University assessed.

There are various cultural and technical events like sinhgad karandak it includes dance solo,group singing , drama. Techtonic it consists of technical events of all branches. Dj night. Carnival it's like a fun fair. Dandiya night,etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

For open category it's approx 1 lac For OBC/EBC 55000rs NT 10000rs per year SC/ST 1500rs per year For hostel it is 65000 per year. It's normal in range of all the engineering colleges. Most of the engineering college have approximately same fees in pune

There are many scholorships from government as well as ngos. Ebc for economical backward class 50% tution fees. For small land holder 30000 per year as hostel allowance. Private scholorships from cummins LTD for girls is also available

Admission through CAP ( CENTRALIZED ADMISSION PROCESS). Fill the form then wait for merit list, then cap rounds are there.usualy 3 rounds. We need to give preferences of various college.top most depending upon merit will be allowed to you. Then report to ARC and college

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

My course actually good in the future aspects and my college is affiliated with pune university so relevancy is good .the syllabus prepares us well in terms of the curriculum . But sometime the college is not finished with the syllabus and it can sometimes challenging for the students

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. I choose Sinhgad College of Engineering because, The "Sinhgad" brand is well-established in Pune. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there. And most important I allotted Sinhgad College of Engineering through MHT CET CAP round. It means I am eligible for getting scholarships as SEBC student.
