Honest opinion of Avinash college of commerce

The cousre is from 2007. All the subjects are very old, teaches you something. The curriculum does not prepare the students for real world applications. It common for colleges to use old curriculum because of our education system. There are some activities which might prepare you for real world but they are very less. They mostly focus on attendance and writing the old syllabus even though they send you pdf and you have textbooks.

I haven't done any internship form the college. I don't remember them providing any information about the internship. We are coming our internship for others sources. I don't know if they will give some info or not.

I am currently in second year fourth sem, so I don't know about the placements but from what I heard the placements starts from third year. Since secunderabad branch is new so no placements have been made yet. But I did see some errors in the list of students who got placements In other Branch. There was a girl who got placed in 3 different companies. I don't how it works but whatever. The average placements is around 2.5 lpa as usual for degree students. From what I heard the ACCA students can get upto 12 lpa. My plans after getting degree is to complete my CA course or start a business any of the two.

The fee structure depends on your 12th grade results. 9.0 or 86%+ your annual fees will be 30000+10000 compulsory charges for the first year, 40000+10000 for second year and 50000+10000 for third year. The fees increase by 10000 the lesser u get in your inter. The take compulsory charges 10000 saying it will be used for events but they still charge us money for some reason

The campus life was mid, nothing too interesting. Most of the students acts like boss and fight with others. There are many clubs in the college which do there events 2 or 3 times in a month. Since we it's just a building, there is no ground so no sports. But they do hold sports day. Some classes do not have projector while some do, we usually have to get it from somewhere else. We are also not allowed to move between floors which is so stupid. The library is just for its name nothing is there in the library, we are also not allowed to go into libarary. There are just some random books that too subject related books.

I actually wanted to drop fir one year to focus on my CA preparation but my parents told me to join college. So I didn't have anything to say about other colleges. The admission process was simple, I just went to the college, applied for it and got the seat. Nothing to exciting worth mentioning happened.

Some of the faculty are really good and some are bad. Most of the faculty are approachable and they actually listen to the students while some of them just straight up ignore them. There is one teacher who just comes to the class with his bad quality speaker and microphone and starts teaching. First of all the quality is bad so it starts headaches and secondly he just don't listen to any student. Other teachers are really good and most of the times listen to us. There are two exams in internal being internal 1 and 2. They are easy MCQ, FIBs and short answer type. But they require you to attend atleast 75% of the time. If not call your parents and talk to HOD or principal for taking exams

Degree students leave at 2pm. So we have some time as we leave before many colleges. Under our colleges there is pista house branch so many student hang out there. There is also dominos near the college so we go there as well.
