Likes

The college has conducive towards the over-all academic development.
The atmosphere of college is better and has gotten better recently
In the education perspective , staff teach pretty much well .

Dislikes

The college is situated in outskirts of a village on uphill .
The campus is not suitable for girls to stay after 7 pm
Travelling too and fro from the college can be hectic .

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always wanted to explore the field of electronic from my childhood one of the reasons why I choose EC . The syllabus can be whole lot for a 3 month semester but got no other choice you have to get done with it .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I remember doing internship in college for a month in python programming offered by a staff from CS branch other than that our lectures have conducted a lot of workshops based on different practical topics apart from the curriculum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Most of the studeents get Karnataka government scholarship of 18000 to 20000 as fee reimbursement. Other than that students can apply for scholarships that they are eligible on the base of their caste etc .

Campus Life

The library is accessible to all students, where you can take text books but there's no proper reading hall . Sports and extra curricular activities are soley your own interest . Typically only two functions are done one is college fest where farewell is done together other one is fresher's

Admission

I applied for almost many Government engineering Colleges . I did get allocated to college in Hasssan and Mandya which I found too far then I had to wait for couple of rounds to get allocated to this college . Well My choice didn't disappoint me

Faculty

The college follows academic curriculum provided by the VTU . So does the marking scheme and teaching content . Lecturers can be progressively supportive and can be sometimes purely conservative ,it depends . Lecturers might be pretty hard to convince .

Night Life

There's a cafeteria in the ground floor . As said before the college lies outside of a village , nearly 10 kms away from the city , there aren't any restaurant, hotels or parks nearby . Boys do have a hostel behind the college building .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements usually from 7 or 8th semester and many tech companies and core companies visit such as amazon,tcs,ibm, microsoft,google,amd etc The average package for my course is 6.5lpa and almost 90% of the students get placed I haven't decided on what to do after getting my degree

As I have heard from seniors , they have not been placed in good company because my college has rivalry from companies like nokia and companies like amazon is not coming to my college for hiring so ya placement is not good

Placement Experience:

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

I studied pcmc in my pu so i had a great interest in a subject called computer science Computer Science always amaze me with its ability to do connect the world together virtually More than theoretical teaching better to have practical or logical way of learning ,knowing basic theory and implementing in real world problem solving 3hrs of exam either from 9.30am to 12.30pm or 2.00pm to 5.00pm,the exams were moderate and selective was the easiest

Course Curriculum Overview:

After 12th, My intrest was in Medical field, so my parents forced me for engineering field, so i choose electrical and electronics engineering course. Curriculum was well prepared.. Yearly the course is getting updated and teaching facility need to be improved because we need experienced teaching faculty. I used to study whole night when there was exam on next day.

Eligibility criteria you should pass KCT after completing your 12th from a recognised board KCT is conducted by the Karnataka Government education authority or we can say Karnataka education authority after completing this you have to go through the process of counselling where you get three rounds of counselling to get the desired seat in deciding college by whatever course you choose you have to go through the process and when you get the seat in listed college you have to go and take admission from that college and this process also benefits for some of the reservation categories OBC SC ST etc....Read More
