Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .

Internships Opportunities

3

The internship opportunities in MBBS is provided by the government only when the course is completed we have to do 1 year of internship in the same college . The internship salary as far as of now is 12 k per month which I know is very less but this is truth of medical education in our country . As in UP we have also been offered 2 years of service by the government which we have to complete any way , the salary during that period is nearly a lakh .

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee is 24500 , for first year general category you have to pay 36000 + 4800 hostel fee , from second year the fee of general category is 24500 and for sc category is 15000, scholarship is provided by state to students having lower income than 200000 per annum

Campus Life

5

The annual fest happens in our college and it is namedcas Ekaaya ( uniting spirits and igniting unity ) it means one of a kind and this fest is really one of a kind this is the best time of exploring medical college life it happens for 7 days and prior to this sports fest start before 5 days to the start of the fest , many indoor and outdoor games are being played and enjoyed by the faculty and students and then cultural fest lasts for 7 days which includes performances from dance club ,art club , music club ,drama club . I belong to music club and it's most active club of the college

Hostel Facilities

4

You get a room and along with a room partner till 3 rd year of college after that you can get a single room if available. Room is fully furnished, with two beds , matress , afan , two tables ,two almirah two chairs ,two drawers(lockers ) z you can use cooler of your own in summers and blowers in winter. Hostel room is just for 400 per month . Meal quality i can say it's edible . Menu is mostly north Indian , you get special meals 2 times a week ..you can pay monthly mess fee or on daily basis according to no. Of meals you take .

Admission

See , I have qualified neet with decent marks and a good rank , so I had decided to get a state medical college as my preference. I made a list of government colleges of state according to my rank . I chose colleges in order of distance from my home as it's a hectic course..if home is near than you feel more protected so there was a choice between asmc Deoria and asmc Siddharthnagar and I chose Siddharthnagar as it's campus and faculty was more nice as I came to know from a senior. Then we locked the choices ...the result came and I got admission letter from Siddharthnagar asmc ...then we were called for final admission...which was smooth ...a medical test is also performed while admission which includes blood test , eye test etc .once you are found medically fit and all process are complete you get admission and you can pay the fee by cash or upi The admission process is a bit hectic you have to take photocopy of all document in 4 set and minimum 30 passport size photos for admission and future use

Faculty

5

There are 3 exams internal first two are terminal exams and then pre university last exam is University exam , which is called as proff . Faculties for first year is complete and faculty to student ration is comparable. Second year faculties are less in no. But they are enough for us . Exams are quite difficult in MBBS .

Night Life

5

So we have a good canteen and you can get Indian and desi chinese , little bit nepali thukpa too ! It's a wholesome place to hangout with friends and have a nice cup of tea or coffee . Library: a full first floor is dedicated to library, there are reading halls , central library consisting every medical book you ll ever need , the library is open for students till 10 pm and for jr and professor for 24 hrs . Outside the college there are few resturant such as silver spoon , zayka , ttf they are quite famous. At night safety is less as it's a remote area.

Placement Experience:

During admission we sign an affidavit with UP government to work in rural area for 2 years or else give 10 lakh rupees. If selected for PG bond will continue after PG fir 5 years else 40 lakh fine. Since there is affidavit , UP government will itself provide job to us as MBBS doctors. Most of students appear for NEET PG exam and take admission in allotted college as junior resident. If one cannot clear NEET PG exam, they will either work in clinics and hospitals as MBBS doctors or they will join any college as demonstrators or Lecturers. The students who have completed internship of 1 year after 4.5 years course are eligible to take any job or practice in private. Salary of mbbs doctors in our country is 60-70 thousand monthly. Almost all students get placed in one or other place. I will get my MS and DM degree after mbbs and become a neurosurgeon.
