My College

It is a good college but sometimes we have to make a lot efforts when some faculties are not available. we face problems with the syllabus when teachers left the institute. Lab facilities can be improved to some extent.

B.pharmacy is a 4 year(8 semesters) course.We have around 5 or 6 subjects every semester. Two Monthly Scheduled Tests are taken by us every semester.Also we have to submit practicals for the respective labs , seminars , viva and assignments also.Final examination is writing based of 60 marks.

The college's main branch is in Mohali and placement drives are organised there every year.Our teachers take us to the placement drives when needed.But we are not provided with internship or any special training.Otherwise we have practical labs for some reference.

Sports Day is organised every year in the month of March in our college where various activities , race 100m 200m are organised.Basketball , Cricket , Badminton and other competitions inter-departments are also organised.Teachers also play games. Annual Function called as "Aafreen" is also organised every year in the month of October where dance , singing , skit and various activitiess are performed by the students.Prize distribution ceremony is also done on the same day.

Fee structure is normal as that of the same course in other colleges in the city. Students are also given concession based on their marks. A 25% concession is given to the first 10 University toppers. Scholarships are also provided to few students.

I have not availed any scholarship but the same is available for students like Muslim or OBCs. Scholarship schemes are also available for low income families. Loan facility i don't think is provided.But early bird incentives are given for depositing fees before due date.

Lab facilities are available as they are compulsory subjects for our course. Lot of equipments are provided but some work and sometimes we have to give requirements of the reagents or equipments. Teachers help us with the same.A few industrial trips are organised.

Yeah senior students are very helpful. they help us regarding books and notes. they also guide us about the subjects too. We borrow books from them whenever needed.No kind of ragging has ever been performed.

Actually due to neet retest in 2016 I got late to get admission in any other course. So I googled about various courses and colleges near me then I approached to the principal of the institute and he guided me about the admission process.

My College has trained faculties who are Post graduate in their respective subjects. They guide us regarding the subjects.Some teachers are very supportive too.Lab teachers are same that of our subject teachers.
