"A Comprehensive Review of my College Experience: Internships, Placements, and Campus Life"

As a bca student, I choose this course for its focus on essential computer science topics like programming and database management which prepares us for industry needs and advanced studies. The curriculum includes practical projects, though it could improve by adding emerging technologies like AI and cloud computing, along with interactive workshops Frequent exams including mid semester and end semester tests enforce learning effectively However, more application based assessments could enhance understanding further overall the course of a strong foundation for career and academic growth.

The internship provided by our college is in Java, fridge, and I did my internship with Adhoc, a startup company from Visakhapatnam. During my 6th semester all students, regardless of their course, are given an internship opportunity in the 6th semester. Internships are great opportunities to enhance skills and gain expertise in the company's process. For our project, we developed a website for a food delivery system, allowing customers to order food from local restaurants The main focus of the project was Java full stack development incorporating technologies like javascript, html and php.

From the third semester, students start the registration process for campus placements which takes place between the 3rd to fifth semesters during this period, Students are assessed and interviewed by registered companies. ? Top MNC's like Wipro, Tcs, Accenture and Hexaware. Visit the college for the campus recruitment process. L&T Mindtree also offer placements. The number of students recruited depends on the company with around 1000 students placed in the previous batch. ? The highest package offered was 4 LPA companies like L&T Mindtree offer around 4 LPA, Wipro Birthday. Can Rababu offers 1 LPA, Infosys offers 2 LPA , Accenture offers 3 LPA and hexaware offers 2.5 LPA. Approximately 60 to 70% of students receive offers through campus placements after completing their degree. ? If the package is low, it may be better to pursue an MCA or post graduation as these typically lead to higher paying opportunities compared to a BCA.

There are no management categories for fee payments; the fee structure is the same for every student. Each student is required to pay between 40,000/- and 50,000/- per annum. When I was studying, the fee was 40,000, but now it has increased to 50,000. Additionally there are two installments in a year, so we need to pay half of the yearly fee in each installment. This fee includes the CRT fee, lab fee, and compulsory charges like the book fee, which ranges from 3000/- to 4000/- per semester. The registration fee is 10,000/- which must be paid during the college registration process.

There were no annual or technical festivals conducted in our branch though they might have been held in other branches. I attended a technical fest organised by another branch. Regarding the library, it offers a variety of books, including technical, fantasy, spiritual and social books, along with general knowledge resources. The library has books on all subjects, such as maths, computer science, legacy, Java, python networks cyber security, cloud computing, etc. Generally, faculty members use powerpoint presentations for some lectures, However, there are no extracurricular activities or sports events organised by our college.

I initially applied to a different branch of the same college, but decided to join this one due to its proximity to my home, saving on travelling expenses. Additionally, this college stands out for its campus placements and internships, which influenced my decision. I didn't face any rejections since I only applied here. The admission process requires students to qualify in their 12th grade academics, preferably with over 70%. A registration fee of 10,000/- is mandatory, along with submitting certificates like SSC and intermediate mark sheets. The college verifies grades and percentages during registration. There is no entrance exam for admission, eligibility is based solely on academic qualifications.

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:10, ensuring Personalise attention. Faculty members are approachable and encourage students to ask questions after lectures, fostering a strong teacher student relationship. The core computer science faculty are highly qualified and often use real time examples to help students understand topics in depth. Lab assistants, though sometimes strict when tasks are incomplete, maintain discipline and ensure work is completed. Exams are regularly including mid semesters, exams and weekly assessments which help improve knowledge, build confidence and reduce exam anxiety.

I'm not a hostel student. I'm a day scholar, so I don't have late night activities. However, I did attend a campus drive at another branch in Sorampalam where the recruitment process went late, and I experienced some late night activities there. As for the college timings the campus opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 4:20 PM with lunch break from 12:20 PM to 1:00 PM. My favourite spot on campus is the library where I hangout with my friends and where I studied books that help increase my knowledge.
