Life at IHM Lucknow

The curriculam is extensive with major focus on the practicals. Students interested in the course are able to access all the labs in order to practice for their exams. The students are made ready for their for their jobs with proper practical knowledge.

Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow is a government owned college with a subsidized fee structure. The institute provides a degree of B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering. The yearly fees was approximately INR7,00,000. The campus has a boys hostel as well as a girls hostel both hostels and a common mess have a similar fee structure of INR 25,000 including food. No additional fees is required for the usage of the labs. IHM also provides scholarships to students based on their financial needs. SC/ST students are also provided with financial aid from the Goverment Welfare Department. Students can apply for scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal. The faculty of the institute is highly qualified and helpful.

The campus life was absolutely great. The hostels were clean and spacious with 2 wardens ensuring our safety. The mess provided the students with 3 meals including tea and coffee. The college starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm

I chose this college as it has the some of the best faculty in all of the other IHMs and it was the closest to my city. The infrastructure is also one of the best in this field. Tyhe hostels were also provided with all the necessary facilities

The is faculty is well educated and helpful . Many faculty menbers have previously worked in hotels ir similar field. they are very hands on with the students always ready to help and provide proper guidance. There two types of exams, internal and external, the students are required to pass all of them so in order to pass the course.

The hostel's in time is 7 pm and the college is located in a quiet location and everything is closed before (;30. the location is safe and quiet. The staff also lives inside the campus and is helpful around the clock
