The teachers are supportive and always ready to help with studies or other guidance.

Dislikes

Some classes are little boring due to outdated syllabus and few faculties are little rude and friendly in both ways

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually b.com general syllabus is not good and relevant to current situation. It need to be updated mostly we learnt something witch is nothing to the current situation and most probably I don't recommend this course I chose because I just needed some degree

B.com general 1sr year fees is around 6000 2nd year fees is 4425 3rd year fees is 5455 And each semester exam fee is around 700 And no other fees because I am studying in morning shift which is govt quota may evening college will have

Campus Life

There are many events conducted in our college mainly sardar intercollegeite function and may I don't remember names . Our classes are equipped with fully ventilated rooms and we also have smart board witha inter net access. Soprst are given equal importance in our college. And have social clus like Rotaract club

Admission

I didn't applied to any others college as I got placed in this college itself. And admission process is strict to norms and iam proud to say that our college doesn't ask any donation like other colleges for a admission

Faculty

We are well equipped with our faculty because each classes have around 60 to 80 students and faculties are more for example for each subject we get around 3 staff hence we won't get bored. I don't wish to mention my fav and least favoured faculty because end of the the day they are there for us to grow. Actually the degree iam pursuing is b com general under madras University which is easy to clear but even in this exam certain students are getting failed due to there negligence.

Night Life

Our college is next to railway station night life not possible. It we have hostel facilities with strict timings. Famous hangout place aerohub is approximately 15 to 20 mins reachable. And we also have mountain view near our college

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

I actually for two other colleges in Chennai, one is Loyola and the other is dgvc. I didn't get seat in Loyola even though I got very good marks 552/600 which includes a centum in commerce and 99 in accounts. After that I applied in dgvc where at first I didn't get counseling but once I paid fees in this College am jain college I got admission there..I asked for a refund in my college but they didn't provide me so I joined here.
