Navrachana University review

As navrachana university is a private university, it can change or adapt its course according to the lastes changes in the economy and what really is needed for the students . The course is design in such a manner which gives up real life exposure of how things really work , we are given assignments in which we have to get to do survey and understand how things really work . I felt that this assignment have really helped me brush up my skills like communication, adaptability. Keeping the core subjects aside , we have this UFP ( university foundation programme) in which we are taught about environment sustainability, data science, reading writing , critical thinking . I believed these things built up a students fundamental which will help us in near future

Our college offers high placements to students. The placements offered are different, in 3 years bba programme, the placements are offer before the final exam of the students , companies generally consider the cgpa and their skills which they develop throughout college, in case of bba hons which is four year programme , the plan cements are offered at the end of the 4th year. Many companies come to offer placements such as - paypal, zydus , alembic , asian paints, Infosys , phone pay , byjus , icici bank etc . The highest package offered at nuv is of 34 lakhs per annum in PayPal . The student who got this job was a gold medalist. My plans after getting a degree would be completing my mba from a reputed college in India then start my career

Fee for BBA programme (hons) is 58000 per semester Students get admission through a online aptitude test and after screening , they call for an Personal interview . After that they give out the list Navrachana also offers scholarships for students on some criteria which are - 65% above in 10th and 12th grade and their family income must not be more than 3 lakh per annum . With that they even need the light bill , bank statement and income statement with identity proof and images of the house which they live in . After the submission of following documents , the college will verify y the following and will grant the schoodsrshiop in which their Tution fees will not be included .

In navrachana university bba program, we have small or big events every month . The most popular is Nuv Yuva which is a college fest , even with fest and events , our college also celebrates festival and various other occasions. Nuv also has a dedicated library which has various books from stories friction to philosophy study business etc from which students can learn , for students from other programme like architecture they have studios in which they make models and more like that and for engineer students they have mechanic lab , physics lab and for biology they have labs and much more . Extra curricular activities are also offered along with studies. It is a perfect blend of studies with fun. BBA programme has its own independent body named as business@Nuv where there are multiple post like president, joint president, general secretary, steering associate, heads of various departments and the members.

I applied to 3 universities which are navrachana , msu , pdeu ( Gandhinagar) . I got admission in msu but I didn't prefer to go to msu as it is a government college and couldn't keep up with the latest changes as of now and due to its limited seats and the sc st quota in there I felt I couldn't get classmates to match up my level in academics . I didn't got admission in pdeu as I didn't went for my PI round as I wanted to stay in my city only although pdeu is a very good college , hence I decided to take admission in NUV . I felt this college would make up my expectations and I would get opportunities to kickstart my career .

There are a huge no. Of faculty , some are visiting faculty and some are permanent. The faculty to student ratio can be counted as 2:4 which is not a problem. This year we had subjects like marketing , micro economics, financing accounting , business management. All the faculty were pretty good but I liked faculty of marketing and business management which make the learning pretty easy by fun interactive classes and bringing up more activities related to studying. The faculty I didn't like much was accounts maam as she didi t knew few basics of accounts and wasn't paying attention on students who weren't studying. The course structure is divided into 60-40 marks in which 60 marks is continuous evaluation which the teacher does by giving test and assignment in the class and the remaining 40 marks is sit down examination at the end of every sem . By adding both the marks we get total marks from 100 which makes our cgpa. I find this method as easy and it doesn't created much load on the students nor the faculty .

The selection process of this university was we first up had aptitude test conducted in an online mode . After that the following selected students were called up for interviews on selected dates in which they asked questions. In my interview they asked my introduction, my hobbies , my perentage in hsc and some other question related to my hobbies. It was quite well overall . They even asked for 2 passport size photo , identification proof , 10th and 12th mark sheet . I prepared and researched online for my test and interview and was able to mange it

College has a bunch of shops and cafés just opposite to it where most of the students hangout with their friends after classes , our college also has a dedicated gym and sports rooom which has snooker , pool etc . The college has also sitting space in the campus and also in campus cafés like tea post and tropical bistro where most students sit together to chill out after boring classes. The college is a 24/7 open for students who wish to stay back and study or have fun . It is completely safe inside the campus and even have security to watch out for .
