Likes

Experienced faculty , they teach you from the basics .
Extra -curricular activities, we have a cricket ground, basketball court, badmiton etc

Dislikes

Have to walk a bit from hostel to college.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have many courses to be dealt with and every semester , we have 9-11 courses per semester and also we have elective courses . Every student will be given one elective course according to their grades they had in the previous semeters.

Class Size: 210Course Fees: INR 34000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees will vary per semester. Initially , 10000 should be deposited and will be refunded at the end of the 4th year. Since , semester fees will vary , it ranges from14000 to 17000 per smester . There is no as such fees for special catergories , it is same for everyone . And Scholarship is given accordingly .

Campus Life

I feel Grateful and Proud to be an almuni of Sri Venkateshwara Agricultural College. Campus life is great , great peer-learning, you will get lot of time to explore nearby places , many intercultural events will be held everyyear, many sports events are held,etc.

Admission

Under ACHARYA N.G RANGA UNIVERSITY , we have many cooleges , I applied for all the colleges but my 1st prefernce was tirupati .luckily, in the 1st counselling itself , i got selected to Bsc(Hons) course in Sri Venkateshwara Agricultural College , tirupati.

Faculty

Faculty is very good , all are experienced and great classroom learing. Faculty to student relationship is great. We have field visits , where faculty take us to fields nearby , we get to learn practically everything .

Night Life

We have indoor and outdoor gym provided in the hostels, we have a huge library . There are many hangout spots in the college like cricket stadium, canteen, lawn,etc. Campus is huge and you can have a morning walk around .College tiings are 9am -4pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I've heard that agriculture is a good course and that interest in farming led me to take this course thou.This curriculum prepared us for the real world facing main problem in agriculture..the areas for improvement are jobs and opportunities should be more for this course..and the frequency of exams are per sem mid , practical and sem are conducted..

Course Curriculum Overview:

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.

From 8th semester eligible for placements My plans after getting the degree to pursue MSC or MBA If MSC I will do in Entomology because I am interested in that After that PhD I don't know much about the college placements

College isn't all fun and games but most Important

Placement Experience:

Actually, placements are good but due to corona, there was a decline in the placements. The highest package is from GPI a tobacco company which is a 4 lakhs package. There are very less percentage of students who are willing to go for a job as many students go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

There are so many placements in my college for BSc students and for microbiology students. The percentage is 75 to got a placement offer.

Remarks:

Being newly established college there are certainly few problems in which the management has overcome but still there are problems related to farm and practical classes. There must be improvement in the mess.

Remarks:

The buildings are very old. They are built in the 1900's.the classroom are well equipped with projects, fans, light etc but the boarding facikity can be greatly improved. New buildings need to be built.

Know about my prestigious college

According to my rank i choose this college . There is another agriculture college in Bapatla it's the top college.compare to that college our college was some what bad in academics and faculty . I applied for Bapatla mahanadi but on my rank and region I got selected into this college The admission process is like first you need to write the eapcet exam which is conducted for 160 marks every year so through that exam you can get into the college based on your rank.after that you should apply for counseling and they will conform the seat then you should submit the required documents and certificates they ask.
