Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is completely based on industry requirement and hands on orientated , which makes it easier for the freshers in the industry. It prepares the students well to tackle the work in the real world. Exams are held twice a semester, mid sem and end sem .
Placement Experience
From semester 3 the students are eligible for internships and pre placement drive taking place on campus . Companies such a Microsoft, Deloitte, phone pe , Cummins, MiQ , etc visit the college for placement. Highest package stands of 50 lpa , avg package of 9 lpa with 6 students getting into microsoft in their 3yr only. 95% placement rate .
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees started with 3lakhs for semester 1 , then increased to 3,12,000 for the next sem . Fee remains the same for all categories , no management quota . No scholarships as well. The overall experience and ROI of the course is worth it.
Campus Life
There is annual cultural fest named reverb and annual tech fest symbitech along with numerous fests of other colleges in the university. The institute has I mac labs , gpu work stations and a well equipped library. Clubs such as Google developer students club , AI club , rotinity , mosaic , soul to soul , etc are run in the college
Admission
SIT , pune being situated in the one of core IT hub cities of India , along with limited and cream crowd made me choose it. Other colleges I made into had a large number of seats which makes the college crowdy unlike mine. SIT has its own SITEEE , which is an entrance exam based on board pattern questions, it also offers admission via state entrance examinations , JEE scores , only the students who cleared the exam and make it in the merit list get into the college
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in the college is about 3:4, there are enough facilities who are all highly qualified with most of them being phd holders , very helpful especially the HOD keeps on motivating the batch to achieve opportunities maximum according to their calibre. There are Continuous assessment for each subject according to the credits they hold , for external subjects there are. Mid sem and end sem examinations , and for lab subjects there are end sem lab exams and mini projects .
Night Life
There is a gym , cafeteria in the campus , along with a general store and other cafe, hostel in timings are 10pm , with balewadi high street being the closest spot to roam around at night and tamhini ghat and mulshi the best ride places
