Likes

College the vibe the people students all are great programs happens there etc are so much fun and cool
Seniors people around the college are nice
Allmost 3 girl to 5 boys so it's not same in all departments

Dislikes

The faculties man they are so annoying they and their rules
Attendance 75% for all subjects for strike they won't given attendance Even though they also didn't come to class
Dogs college sorrounded by somany street dogs

Course Curriculum Overview

It's bad very bad I don't have to talk about it everyone knows that that curriculum was bad 2024 new syllabus introduced like students even teachers don't have any idea what are they teaching so frustrating

Fees and Financial Aid

9650 for year fees college of engineering trivandrum is goverment but somany fees pta 15000 thousand college building fund 2000 college bus fund 2000 total 19000 at admission time then hostel college hostel 15000 pay like some charges then monthly hostel fees 4500 then semester exam fees around 4000 and some fees keep coming like never ending even though goverment it need lots of money poor people can't live there I think

Campus Life

Campus life was fun with lots of memories the moments we spent like playing uno having food shortfilm drama program competition sports etc it was memories of life from strangers to close one it's one in life time experience from different cultures place background

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is ok but guys from hostel is fun great food is ok sometimes cool not everytime then 4500 around monthly rent it's reasonable now days but food won't okay for non keralites mostly they eat from outside especially breakfast

Admission

This number 1 college under kerala government who write keam and get good score will only come here if he or she couldn't get into good nit iit she or he from Kerala surely come here to engineering few will opt bits etc

Faculty

Faculties I'm not saying all are bad but some of them were worst annoying they know that we don't understand what they are teachings don't give duty leave still need 75% attendance for class and lab it's horrible things

Night Life

Fun with food freinds people there are always people light laughs sounds birds you can't be lonely there will be football cricket volleyball etc you can daily see new faces new story it's never be like yesterday every day is special different

Terrible life at college

Course Curriculum Overview:

the couse curriculum is adequate but slightly outdated in terms of real worls industry equipments.while it builds a strong foundation in core subjects ,improvements in modern electives and teaching methods would make it more benefificial for students

My college experience and review for upcoming warriors

Placement Experience:

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

From the 7th sem onwards students who have good cgpa are eligible for campus placements. So many seniors got placed in infosys and tcs. Each year out of 10 , 8 students get placed with good package. And can also apply for good jobs

Placements are provided in the college. But only less placements are occur. In my department out of 75 students only upto 30 are placed through campus placement. But good companys are coming for placement.

Placement Experience:

Students are getting regularly placed from our college. Mainly from the 7th semester onwards, companies will start recruiting the students. During the 8th semester, lots of companies will come for the placement. And really lot of students and getting placed too. Companies like Wipro, Toyota, grapes technologies etc and many local software companies too are coming for the campus placement. They will be offering around 3 lakh per annum for a freshly placed student. The highest salary packages will be around 5 lakh per annum and the lowest is like 1.5 lakh per annum. From our campus, around 75% of students are regularly getting placed and they are very happy too. My plan is also for getting a job after this degree.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More

CET- The dream engineering college of Keralites.

I had applied to other colleges only to get admitted for Computer Science or ectronics and communication. This included government Engineering College Thrissur and Model Engineering College Kochi. But when I was allotted to Btech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CET, I thought it would be the best option since the college is very much reputed for its placements and other facilities available. I had and All India rank of 2085 for KEAM examination and was allotted this course in my third round of allotment. KEAM is the exam for admission in CET.It is a paper including physics, chemistry and maths .
