Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Bidar, BE, Mechanical Engineering

Reviewed on Aug 28, 2019

Remarks

The college is good at everything but lagging in placements and building maintenance they don't care 70% do they don't care about students only 30% think about the students rights and other things we put fine for very silly reasons like for 1st grade of cement and any other option

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is mechanical engineering the exams after is based on credit based system organised by technical University Belgaum you will get the tickets based on the god in marks that you scored in the exam

Placement Experience

well talking about the placements the placement or not best in our college as computer colleges in Karnataka in our college definitions are pretty good like in all 7 courses for example in 600 students for 100 to 200 people get placed in the college

College Events

diamond celebrated in our college is the national holidays which will every college will celebrate and their two events like technology and he was the technician is celebrated by mechanical and he was celebrated by silicon valley it is electronics engineering department but the technician is very good

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is known as I got the management seats have to have to pay 1 lakh rupees per annum for 4 years the students who got admission c2i entrance exams will have to pay and total 76000 thousand in which 15000 and 20000 is building

Fees and Financial Aid

in students who got admission why management seat are not applicable for any applying for any educational as it is rule by RBI of India to the students of God government seat will have the opportunity to avail the loan facility by the government college

Campus Life

2.5

best activities are the events organised in college labs in mechanical computer any other things has a very good sports cricket football basketball and the coaches forever the ground is maintained well throughout the year l

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am not adopted for hostel but the rate I know of the infrastructural facilities that is 50000 per annum is a good good give the good food and the buildings is good for clean good give the quality food as a student wants the last day of the month is not giving food as per the rules but

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

there is an aluminium group in our college which will help the students by placing the universe into their company may be like that I don't know that exist in our college that you have to pay for to mam become a member of parliament member of Ajay gnd something

Admission

Well my entrance exam ranking is too high so I got the admission into the college why management seatmy my sir good but my ranking is gone too much for so I got the entrance eat by percentage basis so in one word I got the management seat

Faculty

2.5

Difficult they have good knowledge and nicely I just in very better manner so every each student can understand topic paper from their best performance so every student can understand everything one word that staff is very good

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
