Likes

The city is quite nice . Its peaceful here and the campus is massively huge
We celebrate functions together because there are total 15 colleges included of various faculties
The academics are here very good . The professors and the hospital staff is very supportive

Dislikes

The hostel fees are bit quite high so you have to look out for that
The senior junior relation is not as good as other medical colleges in gujarat
There are less availability of research in the college

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are quite good enough The exam is divided in 2 portions Thoery and practicals There is one paper of every subject in both the internals and 2 papers of each subject in prelims and university respectively One theory exam consist of 3 hours

Internships Opportunities

After completing your mbbs you have to work a year for a college hospital Its mandatory in every medical college You get quite a good experience after intercating with the patient The faculities and doctors come from ahmedabad daily to check the patient

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently studying in MBBS The fees of government quota is here 8 LPA and for management quota is 15 LPA but for the new batches admitted after 2024 its 10 LPA for government quota and 18.5 LPA for the management quota

Campus Life

There are total 15 colleges of various faculties in here We celebrate functions like ganesh chaturthi and navratri together There is a huge library in our medical college You can find any book of the medical subject and respective journals for it

Hostel Facilities

There are options available for mbbs students are of 2 sharing The fees are 135000 You got separate bathroom with each room And if you are staying in a four sharing room then you are lucky Youve got two bathrooms

Admission

Basically the admission in mbbs is done by merit list I compared it with other colleges and find this college better for me This college is the nearest from my home town and the transport facilities are good enough

Faculty

Mbbs contains 5.5 years of studying The exams in mbbs are like every 3 months There are total fours exams every year 1st internal 2nd internal prelims and main univeristy examination And ward ending and part completion tests are excluded

Night Life

My college is in a town named visnagar To be hinest there are no various options to hang out after 10 pm All you can go for is eat some pizzas or go to drink chai with yout friends There are parks and malls to hangout The campus in itself includes 4 to 5 parks

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams are very difficult there are viva voice and theory exam you have to pass both by 50% otherwise you are fail in the examination most of the students are not passed in the examination it is so difficult

Being a Medico at B.J Medical College Ahmedabad

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing the medical field was my dream since childhood. This college provides the perfect environment for studies and overall development required for students. Being the highest ranked medical College in Gujarat and constantly bagging a good ranking in all Indian medical College rankings there are no loopholes in the academic part provided by the college. There are well-experienced and passionate professors and the tutor to students ratio is more than sufficient. Since I joined the college there hasn't been a lecture that went vacant. While talking of academic curriculum our college strictly follows the curriculum provided by NMC. The professors are very much qualified in their field having done their post-graduation and higher studies from the b.j Medical College Ahmedabad itself or various top-notch colleges across India. The testing and marking scheme of the exams are competitive with top colleges. The tests are never delayed and the schedule is tightly monitored.

Remarks:

Infrastructure is almost of the modern age. So there is no difficulty in reading as well as residing in the hostels. Library and study rooms are well maintained also departments are well maintained with working labs.

Remarks:

All the things are mentioned above in detail. College still need to be taken proper care in order to attract more patients and for which it ia already working on, current condition is much better then earlier which is still going on in positive direction.
