Good Times in SIHM

I've choose this course just because i don't want to join my father's textile export business but however after joining i developed my interest in Front Office and Food and Beverage Service. Various VVIP guest are invited to our college and all the preparation and hosting from the start till the end are been organised by the students with the back support of the management related to money. The Duration of the course is 4 years, i personally think it should get reduced in future. The exams are based on the semesters evey 6 months we do have our University final exams. The timing of the college is at 9 AM jn the morning college starts and it will end by 4:30

The Oberoi Hotels Leela Group Taj Hotels Raddison Those are the companies widely come for placement however if you have any specific preference of the company you can tell the placement cell they will lined up yoir interviews virtually with that companies.

At the mid semester of 2 you'll be eligible for placements as in the 3rd semester you'll have an industrial training so placement team start bringing hotels to colleges for the placements for Industrial training and in semester 7 mid as your 8th semester will be yours On Job Training or Final Job depends on the company which came or on the students either they want to join As an OJT or Associate.

So I've paid 108000/- per year to SIHM which includes my tuition fee's for 2 semesters and hostel fees for one year. The breakdown is - 32500 per semester tuition fees and 21500 per semester hostel fees which includes food as well. (6 months Semester) and we need to pay 750 to 1000 evey semester to GTU for the examination fees of the university portol

In my final year, I've been assigned as an student event Coordinator where i need to host events in the college, we've host evey Festival in the college either it should be ganpati, Navratri, Christmas, new year They do have an library, students doesn't need to purchase any books they have alot of books and e books for the students Technology is advance, AC Classrooms, Smart Board classes and CCTV in every area. Volleyball ground and table tennis court is there in the college and gym as well. CSR activities are been done by the students they do have Produgies Club for that. Blood donation and medical checkup happens .

Beds, wardrobe, lights, fans, study table for each students. 3 sharing rooms very big Food is excellent, you'll get 4 times meal in a day. Near patidar society you can rent a room if you dont want to stay in hostel

I've joined Asia Pacific- Ahmedabad in 2019 in same course but however i realized I've taken an wrong decision joining that college, so I've quite the college and join SIHM as APIHM have some issues which are not really good for students like the management, less faculties, bad mess food There is no admission exams if you are willing to join you can go to college and see the college they will give your the proper showround also if you given the the fees for confirmation and if you want to withdraw your name your money will be transferred back to your bank account by college if your are not taking admission

Faculties are very well supportive, always there for students any time, literally even I've disturb them in night for some help related to personal reasons and they are always available to attend. I personally like everyone as they never stop me for doing something new and unique for college or for myself thats what i like about and I'm passed out working in the Oberoi group but still I'm in touch with them specially with few of them who treat me like my elder brother. Specially mentioned Mr. Rajat Katiyar Sir, Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Sir, Ms. Naiya Rana Ma'am, our HOD Mr. John Benito Junior Sir. Few of the Faculties I've personally not liked like Chef Manjur Hussain, as they are very much strict related to learning and related to kitchen practical as I'm not an kitchen interested guy so thats like it but also they are supportive too.

Gym is there and its good really, morning for girls and evening for boys. Hostel timings as per rule we can go outside post 7:30 PM to outside markets if we have permission they security allows SIDHARTH Hotel is good for food most of the students will be there for having lunch over there, Food Mohalla is an spot where you'll find mkst of them in the evening and local markets There is no night life in siddhpur post 10 pm
