Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course over MBBS , I LIKE THIS BETTER , you're a specialised doctor just after graduating, you're ready for the outside world, to earn money , better career options . About exams, nothing is too difficult if you study properly. Its normal difficulty if you study its easy ,if you don't study its gonna be hard. Notes system should be removed . More tests should take place like fortnightly test . Dissection is a must.
Internships Opportunities
BDS internship in our college is available , 12th months rotatory internship in all 9 departments of Dentistry , you also get a stipend per month , and your college is free during internship , you can also go to other colleges for externship
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is same for everyone , financial aid available but nobody used , we have the prestigious LK GANDHI SCHOLARSHIP too , i dont know the amount though . There are 25 students who got this scholarship
Campus Life
Our annual fest AAVAHAN takes place every year which consists of sports : cricket, badminton, volleyball , football, , sprint, tug of war, relay , chess , carrom etc Then cultural: concert, dance , fashion show, skit , variety , song, etc etc We have an environmental club too It is all good very nice Campus is not so big but has all the amenities
Hostel Facilities
We have study table , bed , wardrobe in room Courtyard , pantry etc Hostel food is nice , its hygienic and tasty as compared to other hostels , nonveg 3 days a week all good food . Tasty veggies, nice roti , healthy food
Admission
I thought of applying to subharti but didn't get in because my neet score was low , i chose this college because it has the best simulation lab in north india , all the latest technologies ,CAD CAM , endodontics microscope etc
Faculty
The faculty student relationship is nice, they're approachable and always ready to solve all our issues , There are 3 internal exams every year, a lot of class tests aswell The college is very strict regarding attendance , we need 75% attendance per subject inorder to be eligible for professional exams
Night Life
Hostel timing: till 9pm for girls , 11pm for boys We have 1 gym , 2 cafeterias and dps campus for hangout , we have mars resort nearby for hangout , then modinagar, its generally safe , we have modinagar north rrts station 1km away
