- Ambegaon area that is mostly filled with all characterless guys.
- Staff Of F.Y. is not much talented as they say that all the professors are PHD holders.
- Campus is really very good but in one campus there are multiple colleges this is what just one thing I hate about my campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am in this college due to main reason that SPPU is the best university as per me. Though they change their pattern every four year but still it is for the sake of the students. The timetable or exams are designed in such a suitable manner that there is sufficient preparation leave for preparation of end semester examination after viva and practicals.
Placement Experience
After the 5th semester students get eligible for placement cell. There are many top companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture and much more. Average package is 4 lakh per annum and highest is 27 lakh per annum in campus. For placements CGPA should be more than 7.5/10.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have admitted in Sinhgad College through ACAP seat i.e. management admission. My fees for FY was Rs.1,38,060. And from S.Y. onwards to Last Year it's gonna be Rs.1,29,000. As I am management admitted student, I am unable to apply for scholarship and unable to pay OBC seat fees.
Campus Life
When it comes to days and festivals, Sinhgad is the best college after MIT Kothrud in Pune. Sinhgad Carnival and Spring fest is best festival. We can avail books from library on basis of I'd cards. In each class digital smart boards are provided. Sinhgad ground is known as best ground for cricket tournaments. There are clubs like rocketry, space shuttles, scoe club, Elisa clubs and many more.
Hostel Facilities
In each hostel room there are 3 beds, 3 study tables with chairs and racks are provided to students. Lunch and dinner is available with unlimited quantity but less quality. All the process is being done through biometric scan and college app.
Admission
As I am from Jalgaon so in the second cap round I have been alloted a seat in Don Bosco Institute of Technology in Mumbai. But at the last moment my relatives forced my parents to take my admission in Pune under SPPU. So as there were no more cap rounds left, I was needed to pay donation and take admission in Sinhgad College.
Faculty
Faculties from S.Y. is literally very cooperative but Entc ranks best in faculty and cooperation with students. I just dislike mechanical department a little bit because when students leave the lecture hall everyone's face is supposed to be in a sad manner. There are two exams in one semester i.e. insem for 30 marks and endsem for 70 marks according to our 2019 pattern.
Night Life
As college is located on the hill so there's a different world apart from that local life on the hill. There is library, multiple no. of gyms, there is no need for garden that much greenery is available in the college. Hostel life was the best life in F.Y. Girls have strict in timings as compared to boys. Outside the college and hostel each and every spot is a hangout place for friends and couples.
