Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. this curriculum is helps to identify more job opportunities related to our course. This is a well structured curriculum. This curriculum focus on real world skills.

All courses based intership are provided by the college. The college have connection with other famous companies and they give carrier guidance classes and workshops for students. These are also valuable.

Fees and Financial Aid

MSc homescience is an aided course it doesn't included any semester wise fee Structure.This course of consist of yearly yearly fee payment system. In the first year of this course we have to pay they amount of ten thousand five hundred (10500/-).It includes Tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, lab fees, and other charges.The second year fee payment is 6500/-.

Campus Life

This college celebrate almost all festival. This campus environment is very nice and library facilities are also available. The library contains all courses related reference books. Every class room have projector facilities. The college give much importance to sports and arts.

Admission

Morning Star college is a women's only college this is the main reason I choose this college. They provide safe and supportive campus and qualified faculty to the education purpose. This is very famous for homescience course.

Faculty

This college contains 55 teaching staff and they are very supportive to the students and build a great bonding with students. The teachers and non teaching staffs are very kind. Teachers create positive and encouraging environment and they are strong mentors to students. This college follow semester wise exams. The exams are very easy.

Night Life

The college provide ell equipped gym facilities and also open gyms are provided. This college have their own hostel facility for womens. the college best hangout spot is canteen. This college is very safe in Day and night

Our batch was in Covid lag batch. So the course curriculum was highly rushed. We weren't able to cover aspects which would have real world applications. The last semester research project was fine but still more hands on experience and more research oriented approach could've been taken .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placement in their final year of the course. We have BS-MS, MSc, IPhD and PhD currently. Students from BS-MS are more likely to be placed. Though placement is less as students mostly go for research after masters. We have a placement cell that notifies about the opportunities in industries and academia. As my plans are to pursue a PhD after getting this degree so I never got interested in placement opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a chemistry lover that is why I am choosing this course to become a chemist. There are 8 faculties in the department and 120 students in B.Sc and M.Sc section in chemistry. 5 of the 8 have Ph.D. and 2 have post-doctorate. The remaining 3 are doing their Ph.D. The teaching at the M.Sc level was really different and interesting. They gave the training to mold us as the master of chemistry by self preparations and practice. We are the teachers of our class. We refer to textbooks at libraries (3 libraries. Main, department, research lab). The most difficult portions were taken by teachers in a high-tech way. The teachers arrange international and national seminars. Exams were conducted by universities. That was really easy for us because our department faculties also conduct unit tests and 2 level model exams before semester exams. And provide a minimum of 2 weeks of study leave before exams.

Knowing my college

The main highlights is the hospitality of the college. When I came to take addimition in BSC chemistry model 2 in merit base the faculty members of the department gave direction about the course structure and how it helps as to future growth ???? and neetness of people in this college are well said things and security system are very good And friendly approch towards our family and me are very nice ???????
