Area around the college, almost all the stuff necessary for a student is available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well planned, keeping in mind students need breaks, and some of the holidays are week long while some can last as long as 3 weeks, ofcourse these are just random, around the exam holiday.

Internships Opportunities

A lot of top companies choose PICT for internship programs, due to their trust in faculty who create smart students who can tackle all the current emerging problems in IT, Computer and Electrical sectors.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are one of the reasons the college is considered great. It boasts a massive 90% placement rate, with an average of 15LPA package. Due to this very reason, a lot of students, including myself have enrolled here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition Fees: 78500. As a first year without much knowledge about scholarships, I don't have much info. In case other stuff is needed, I'll check later and report. Please mail me if that's mandatory and needs to be input

Campus Life

So far, I'm very much enjoying the campus life. All the students, faculties create a lively atmosphere of learning. Not just study but also sports, art culture and much more is done here, keeping us interested.

Admission

It's already considered the 2nd greatest college in Pune, as well as Maharashtra in IT sector. It offers great internships and placements as well, and students become successful outside the IT field also, due to extra curricular activities

Faculty

The faculty is awesome over here. Almost all of them have great knowledge and are also researchers in their work. The exams aren't hard considering lectures are done smoothly, and student practices on time.

Night Life

Whenever I'm in campus during nighttime, it's as if I'm in a horror or romantic movie, the area is calm and quite, with a few students moving here and there. It's quite peaceful during nighttime and feels nice and scary at the same time

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course coz data science is a very trending and growing field. I've been taught about most of the core principles of this field. I think improvement would be needed when learning about real world applications and presentations as a Data Science Professional. I feel like exams are somehow always about memorizing things rather than actually understanding which makes it really bad. Even if you understand most core principles you'll have to learn the book knowledge which isn't relevant to the field at all.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the college is as same as any other colleges. College does follow traditional approach but college does conduct various programs like AICTE idea lab course in curriculum. Teaching method in college needs to evolve and college needs to encourage the coding and development culture. And as for exam, for every subject exam iseasy to moderate level but for selective subject (depends on faculty) exam level is difficult.

AIT Pune - Every detail you need to know before taking admission

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is phenomenal compare to other local colleges in Pune The average, even during this recession time is 14 lakhs per Annum With over 98% placed. Hundreds of companies like Google Microsoft Cred Deusch bank come every year to the campus. AIT also have a very rich culture of start-ups with phenomenal start-ups like Ud chalo, Stumato etc. My plan after my degree is also to go for a start-up.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
