- Teaching faculty is good. If you ask a doubt anytime, it will be cleared with great clarity. All faculty members are experts in the respective fields.
- Great alumni network and internship and placement cell.
- Different clubs help to gain your interest in different sports and activities.
Dislikes
- Unavailability of permanent campus. Current classes are been conducted in Sinhgad College , Pune. Campus construction is expected to finish till April 2025.
- The student ratio in the college is really bad. There are almost 100 boys in a batch of 120.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is upto date with the latest technologies. Subjects like innovation and Environmental studies includes information about latest innovations and technology. The end sem exam is 2 hour long this is sufficient time yo attempt whole paper.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for 2024-28 batch for 1st year is Rs 2,78,750.It includes 25,000 development fee,1000 of medical aid, 8000 laboratory, 7000 library fees, 6700 computer training and internet fees, examination fee 1500, gathering and youth festival fee 1500 and alumni association fee 2000. For all four years the fees is almost same. There is no fee wavery for any category.But one can apply for any other government or private scholarships
Campus Life
There are different clubs like bit legion, saaz, eklectic, sports club, localhost, etc. There are library and computer labs available within the college. But the availablity of books in the lab is limited to the curriculum study materials.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good and spacious. There are 4 students in one room in boys hostel.The mess is also good with breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner provided. Meal quality is good and the menu is diverse.
Admission
I took admission to this college through josaa councilling. You need to give jee mains exam to take admission in NITs and IIITs. My percentile in JEE mains was 98.2. At this rank the best option available for CS was IIIT pune.I had options in NITs but for different branches, I chose this college for computer science branch.
Faculty
The faculty here is really good. There are 7 professors for a batch of 120 students . There are also other faculty for admission , placement and other cells. The relationship between faculty and students is good. The professors here are friendly but also strict regarding discipline. Personally, I liked my maths professor Dr. Jatin Majhitia sir. He has helped me to overcome my maths problems which I was weak in. There are * sems in a Btech course. In each course a Endsem and 2 test(T1 and T2) are conducted. Both tests consisits of 20 marks and endsem is of 60 marks. The exams are fairly moderate.In the total of 100(T1+T2+endsem) 30+ is the passing marks in each subjects. In my first sem there are 5 students who failed in one or more subjects
Night Life
There is no gym and cafeteria in the current temporary campus, but the locality has many availablities like hotels, cafes and gym.The hostel is locked at night 11 pm and opened at morning 5 am. But you can go in and out with the wardens permission
