Life at ABES engineering college

The btech cse branch of this college is very famous in Delhi NCR region for its relativeness to real time world that's why I too chose cse branch at this college. The curriculum for first year might not seem relatable but lateron it's very aligned to industry levels. The curriculum however can be improved by removing the unwanted subjects like physics and environmental science. The gaps between sessional test should also be increased from 25 days to atleast 40 days.

The college provides on campus placement opportunities. It has average package of 7lpa for cse branch. Students become eligible for on campus placement from 6th semester and onwards . But however the college does not help in internship opportunity. Many famous companies like TCS,Wipro, Amazon, Accenture visit the college every year and take 50-60students per company. The college has placement percentage of 92percent which is highest in NCR region for private colleges I guess.

The fees of abes engineering college is 133600 for admission through aktu counseling. The college helps in scholarship from up govt upto RS 60000. The fees through direct admission is 145000 which has aktu registration charge of rs7500 in it.

The college has mainly 2 festivals namely diwali and new year fests. They are held in October and January respectively. The college has a very big and well equipped library which has nearly 2000 plus books in it which includes both academic and non academic books. The college helds sports festival the most famous being apl aka abes premier league for cricket. The college has many social groups like your dost groups which provide support and guidance for both academic and personal matters.

The college hostels rooms are very very good . They have ac in them as well as non AC rooms . The rooms are fully furnished and ventilated and have good lightings. The hostel provide Internet for studies and proper study tables and chair for everyone in the room. The hostel are very affordable at just 120000 for starting of four seater rooms and the range goes upto rs 160000 for two seater rooms. The registration process is very smooth and can be completed in a single day through I form only.

I chose this college because it was the best college available at my jee rank as per my guess. I didn't apply for any other college and I don't regret joining this college because it is better than its rival like gl babaj and rkgit as it's fees is lesser and provides a better placement than its rival. The college has tie ups with many companies like tech Mahindra etc which provide placement even to backbenchers. The college offers admission on basis of jee mains rank and aktu counseling and 15 percentage of seats on basis of class 12th marks . Cse cutoff ranges from 180k-240k jee mains rank for home state quota and 150-220k for all India quota.

The college has well educated and highly qualified faculty for nearly all the branches the college offers. The student to teacher ration on an average is nearly 55students per teacher which is quite more than recommended. This ratio sometimes makes interaction difficult. I personally like my class coordinator who teaches us pps . There are 3 sessional test at every months before the semester end exams.

The college has many canteens infact it has a entire building dedicated to canteens . There are mainly 5 canteens in the college itself plus 2 canteens in the hostels . The college hostels have good sports facilities. The hostel have dedicated basket ball courts . It has also has well dedicated space for badminton and lawn tennis courts too. Along with these the hostels have volleyball courts with well updated and equipped gymnasium. The locality around hostel is safe to roam at night but the hostels have timings of morning 5:00 am.to 10pm at night .
